I was quoted $229/month to sign and drive. This is based on acquisition fees ("bank and doc") of $964, registration and inspection at $170.

MSRP is assumed to be $21375 per Edmunds, and the dealer gave me a price of $18897, which appears to be below invoice.

The math appears to check out and they gave me the same money factor and residual as shown here.

How did they get below invoice? Is that the "lease cash"? I assumed that is just a discount.

Don't worry about 'below' or 'above' invoice; the dealer wouldn't agree to the deal if they weren't making money somewhere.

It's not there ... you'll have to take that up with the dealer.

Are there any upcoming incentives I should wait for? First offer I've gotten is for about $1350 off MSRP which doesn't seem like a good deal but I'm not familiar with Civic sale prices especially in the Northwest. They sure have a lot of them in the lots though.

We've only seen 10K offered in and around NYC.

That's true.. the LX, EX and Sport hatchbacks have the highest residuals at 60% for 36/15.

The highest sedan residual is 59% for 36/15.
