2017 Volvo V60 Lease Deals and Prices

MSRP $48,430
Initial Cap $36,769
Acquisition $995
Money Factor .00050
Base Rental $486.62
First Month, Doc ($100) & lic/registration upfront

From what I see here, MF is high, Acquisition is marked up. Room for improvement elsewhere?

Am I getting anything from the dealer, or are all discounts from Volvo?

Just talking to dealer. He swears that base MF is .00030

Got Acquisition cost down to $695, and MF down to that .00030

Sales Tax at 10.3.

I get $501 per month.

They claim $514. Trying to see where the difference lies now.

OK, see wherein the discrepancy lies. They were pulling the reduction in MF out of the cap cost, then using the original MF of .00050. Works out exactly the same either way.

Still curious though... Is that .00030 an accurate and honest number, or are they marking it up from the .00001 that I'm seeing quoted here so often.

.00030 is the correct MF for the V6 T5 XC base trim.

.00022 MF and 41% residual for 36/12.

That's a pretty small bump, if that's what it is. Volvo has some regional programs, but money factors usually don't differ, between regions (but, they could). Unfortunately, we don't have all of the regions.

Gents - Here's a deal I have in hand for a demo model.

I wouldn't put any money down.
The MF is marked up from .00022, and they wont budge on it. Next best deal I've found is for a new unit +$4200.

Any major downside to leasing Demo... thoughts?

Looking at a 2017 V60 Cross Country. MSRP 47820. Don't have lease details yet but with 0 down and TT&L included (taxes are 4.5%, the tag fees are about $100) the 36 month (10k miles per year) pmt I was quoted was $510.43, with an end of lease buyout of $22k. Is that good? What details should I be looking for?

Dealer suggested that if I were keeping the car more than the 36 months that it would be in my best interest to convert it to a regular loan after 6 months (capture the lease incentives then switch to conventional). Thoughts?

It did not mean anything to me until I got home to research leasing (had not considered it beforehand) ... but I THINK he said the money factor was 54 ... so now I assume that means .00054?

We will actually drive the car more like 12k miles per year so I have to factor in the over mileage charge ... or is the mileage allowance negotiable?

Big incentives, but they vary by region.

For 36/12, the residual goes down by 1% (so, 44%)

Without knowing anything else about the deal, that seems like a very good payment. About $14/mo. more for 12K/yr.

The finance charges are very cheap on the lease... If you lease to start with, it would be best to take it to the end of the term before buying it.

I don't really have any price information to give you...

February was the last month to lease these vehicles, and they had about $6500 of lease incentives on them, but no idea about purchase incentives.

I'd do a wide search to see if you can find any at other dealers, on-line, and see if you see any bigger incentives. Since they can't lease them, it may incentivize them to make a big discount and cut them from the herd.
