That payment quote is pretty high for the MSRP.

I agree with the math on that worksheet. That might be the best you can do, other than negotiate a lower selling price.

When inventory gets that low, the balance tips, ever so slightly, back to the dealer, as there are now likely more people interested in those 6 cars.

Thank goodness I found this thread! We’re going in for a second time tonight to look at doing a 36 month lease on a 2017 Toyota Corolla SE. I’m better prepared this time, but did not get the money factor quoted last time we were in. Can you provide the money factor for the different credit tiers for Kentucky??? Thank you!

What would be a good price to ask? I’m in the area code 97006. I asked for $15300 for a 2017 Corolla LE but they want to give me an L instead for that price. Also I’m not sure if that’s the final price or there will be other fees (doc fees, destination charges).

$203/mo w/ zero down for a 36/12, including free delivery to our home an hour away.

For reference, another dealership that wouldn't budge off the sticker on an L tried to rescue the deal and had the manager call to go over this quote, then offered us a sale price of $20,200 on an SE (MSRP $21,808), which would have come in at $201/mo for a 36/10 with an $800 trade-in. Hope this information helps somebody.

If they will truly take you out of your lease at no cost, then yes... I would grab a 2017 Corolla, now.
But, just because they did it two years ago doesn't mean it will happen again. Go in with your eyes wide open.
