Hello, what is the MF and residual for a Tahoe LT in Florida?

Saw a LT Midnight Edition with MSRP $56,875 and final price of $47,290, dealer numbers for 39m/12k came out to $634/m so would like to know if that is within range or over priced. Still learning about calculating lease with MF/Residual values so any help is appreciated. Thanks guys

What is the full breakdown of the $4026?

We recommend you only put up the first payment and registration costs at signing - roll the taxes and fees into the payment.

It is in virginia. Acquisition fee of $595 and taxes/title/tags of $3,431.

Got it - VA is one of a handful of states that taxes the entire selling price.

We do suggest that you roll those taxes and fees into the monthly payment - it's unlikely that you'd get a refund of the pre-paid taxes if the car is stolen or totaled.

Resid: 35,693 (58% private bank)
Selling price: 56,700 +1200( remaining lease payments) = 57,900
Adjust cap= 58,128

$3,000 in rebates
Only 1st month payment down of $749.

It's possible that the $3000 rebate is only through the independent bank?
I don't see a big difference in payment, otherwise. The GM lease might be about $500 cheaper over the life of the lease, if there is no other incentive.

I'd ask them why. (though, using independent banks isn't unusual, if it results in a lower payment)

New to all of this and trying not to get burned at the dealership! We are looking at leasing a Premier or LT. I am in Texas. What money factor and residual should I be looking for the lease? Also, are the numbers posted in here the baseline and I should expect variance or this is what the dealership should be offering me as the "best deal"? Anything else I need to know?

What lease term and how many miles are you looking for?

Texas taxes leases at the full selling price, which will make your payment expensive. Just be prepared for that.

Residual values are fixed by the bank; dealer cannot modify them.

MF can be marked up, though I don't think that happens a lot with Chevrolet dealers.

I'm looking to purchase in Tx. I have an offer for an LT for 36/10. MSRP = 60715. Cap Cost = 55124. Residual = 62%. That all seems reasonable. The MF, however, is 0.00268. Obviously this is extremely high. The dealership is claiming that this is set by the manufacturer and they won't budge. Per previous posts, it appears the real GM MF is 0.00168. Under no circumstances would I lease a car with such a high MF. Curious if there is any truth to their claim. If not, any advice on how to get them to drop down to a reasonable number?

You politely tell them that you won't sign a deal where the MF is marked up. They know the base rate.

And, I imagine that Chevrolet dealers are not hard to find in TX; start shopping around. Only takes one to meet your numbers.

That is accurate - there are often different incentives for lease vs. purchase. And, the purchase incentives are usually the ones that show up in the ads.

No information on 2018 availability.

There may be some give in the deal-making as that date approaches. The Tahoe is pretty popular, however, so don't expect much.
