money factor is a killer for CRV. I ended up extending my Accord lease as I'm not willing to pay Lexus RX or Acura RDX rate for CRV EX. Looks like 2017 slowly starts to drop in price after 2018 announcement. I'm hoping to get a shot for 2017 EX in Jan-March when Honda starts smelling rotten eggs among 2018 units. I hope I'm right with my strategy
bummer. is high MF for CRV always been the case or it varies on demand just like Accord and Civic? Thanks
We tried to wait them out, extending the 2014 CR-V another six months. No go. MF still at .002 . We were really disappointed because this would have been our 4th CR-V lease. Had to eat the $350 lease end fee, but brought it back on empty gas with 10% left for oil change. ;-) Take it out of that $350.. lol
Ended up going with a Subaru Forester instead and got 12.2% off MSRP on a Premium trim with eyesight + weather package, basically bringing it up to spec with the EX CR-V trim (and exceeding it frankly in many ways). Difference in monthly payment around $150/mo between the two.
Subaru has a .0009 MF. Not quite as low as Toyota, but we don't like the RAV-4, and there are some less than stellar reviews out there on it. Subaru was the best compromise, plus their 64% residual was very nice blowing away toyota and even Honda with their high .002 MF gives mediocre residual. Mazda CX-5 was also ruled out due to low residual + lack of features for what we got in the subaru deal.
Hello, can I please have the Residual and MF for 2017 CRV LX AWD 3yr/12K mil in New York City. Also, it would be great to know if there are any incentives that I should know about. Thanks in advance!

What is the adjusted cap cost?
We'd suggest you structure the lease only pay first payment and DMV costs, up front. Any money down beyond that is likely to be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.
This is all theyve shown so far . I'm dropping them an email to ask for it but I suspect they won't give any more until I make a visit for the test drive . Also, apologies in advance since this is a bit of. A general q but what happens at the end of a lease? Are there any surprise payments that may be due ? And if so what's the best way to avoid them or at least plan ahead ?

There is a disposition fee if you drop the car off and do not lease another Honda. Then, there might be some wear and tear charges, but Honda is pretty lenient about those - if you take good care of your cars, this shouldn't be an issue.
I as quoted 379$ a month, crv ex, 2wd, 0 down for bank fee and taxes, in ny, for 10k for 39 months. Is that a good deal?
Do you have the MSRP and adjusted CAP cost?
No, they just give me the monthly payment. today I was told 394$ for 4wd crv ex model, 12k miles for 36 months, first payment and transfer of plates due at signing.
Without the details, it's hard for us to comment on how good (or bad) that offer is.
msrp is 29,035$ Final offer 384$ a month for 12k miles, crv ex 4wd, 39 month lease, only first month and dmv fees due at signing. Honda finance. No cap cost reduction. Residual value 17421k Adjusted cap cost 28823.29k Depreciation 11402.29k
How much is due at signing?
Due at signing: 384$ plus DEpt of motor vehechle fee of 125$ For transfer license plate.

I get the same payment, given those numbers. Looks like most CR-V deals. It's a very popular car, and not cheap to lease.
I reached out to ask them, but was thinking I get that $391 payment when I run the math using? (26,612-17650.35)/36 + (28935+17650.35) * X = $369.....so they used a money factor .002713?!? $369 * .0566 (tax) = $391 payment?
Am I looking at this right? This is the first dealer that I'm working online with so I have something to go to others with. Let me know if I've gone about this wrong?
edit: They said 'The adjusted price is just the sale price I gave you.'

It can't be -- I'm pretty sure that WI taxes the monthly payment on a lease, so the $1507 is either irrelevant or simply the sum of the tax owed.
And, I don't see any reference to the $595 Honda Finance acquisition fee, which is mandatory for every lease.
If they continue to stonewall, find another dealer. Only takes one to be transparent with you.
I assume the $1507 is irrelevant to the lease and that would be if I'd purchase it? If that's the case then my math above would be correct, but would be without the acquisition fee being accounted for? So I'd be looking to get the MF down and negotiate that $26,612 down further?
edit: FYI $391 is the monthly payment including taxes

I'm not 100% certain that the MF is .002713 - generally, MF is only shown to 5 decimal places. And, until we get the right adjusted cap cost, it's hard to reverse engineer that number.
Yes, you'll want to bargain hard on the selling price. Then, add the $299 doc fee and the $595 acquisition fee to that price to get the adjusted cap cost.
Pay the tag and title fee up front, as those are non-taxable government fees. Plus, the first month's payment.
I've also gotten this today from a different dealer. Should I be asking for more than this : ' I was hoping you'd be able to give me a pricing breakdown on a 36/12k lease on the 2017 Honda CRV. I'd qualify for top tier credit. I'd like to put zero down, but would be fine with covering the first payment and registration.'

I'm within a dollar of that quote.
Ask them for the breakdown of the difference between the selling price and the cap cost.
We don’t track pricing – use the “make / model / year” tabs at the top of the page to link to the Edmunds price tools.

'Thank you again for your interest i the Honda CRV AWD. We are trying to be VERY transparent by showing you the actual worksheet - Here is the worksheet we sent to you - Pricing includes sales tax. Acquisition fee is INCLUDED in these figures - All Honda financial leases have this fee.'
So I wonder if now we can reverse engineer to get that .00271 MF?

When I did the calculations, and told you that I was within $1 of the dealer quote, I used the .00210 MF.
I still don't understand the tax amount - can you do some research with the state department of revenue website to determine how WI taxes a lease?
If it's against the entire selling price - and I really don't think it should be - then the tax amount should be closer to $1500. If it's the sum of the payments that gets taxed, then the tax amount should be closer to $700.
They are being pretty transparent - politely ask them how the tax amount was calculated. You want to make sure you understand every number that goes into the payment calculation.

What I posted was in reference to the image of the worksheet I had posted above with the $391 monthly payment. It's essentially $369/month $391 includes tax on that at 5.66%. I think I just have to figure out how they get to $369.
With the adjusted sales price of $26,612 which they're saying includes the acquisition fee and what not.
The $1507 tax in that example is against the complete cost for a purchase I believe.
