Looking to lease a Kira Nero LX or EX in NY. 0 down, for 36 months, 12k miles. What money factor, RV etc. should I be looking for in a good lease deal on this? Probably a tier 7 based on the previous post of credit tiers. If my credit score is not good, and possibly 595 below Tier 7, does KIA finance take into account perfect payments from the current 36-month lease I have with them?

Tier 7 is for scores from 620-639; below that, and I'm not sure you can get financed.

However, if you have an existing Kia lease in good standing, you may get qualified; there is such a thing as an 'auto enhanced' credit score, which gives more weight to your auto credit history.

You should check with your local dealer to see what tier you qualify for.

I'll give the tier 1 and tier 7 rates, so you know the range you can expect

LX - .00141-.00261 and 56%
EX - .00099-.00219 and 53%
$3000 lease cash

Thanks. That is helpful. Yes, definitely in good standing with KIA, never missed or late for a payment. In regards to the 'auto enhanced' credit score, which gives more weight to your auto credit history, what more can you tell me about that? Specifically, what kind of interest rate might I expect to pay? Will a KIA dealer be able to give me an accurate price quote if I provide them my credit score? Paying online with KIA they provide a service that lets you see your credit score, last posted in mid-Sept it shows 641. Just considered that they do shady tier financing to make more money. When I leased my current KIA, the finance manager did the paperwork, and because I did my homework and knew roughly what each line should be on the agreement, and pointed out his error, he then changed it. A little gun shy since there are no really good reviews for any Kia dealers by me.

The first number is Tier 1, the second number is Tier 7.
The bank sets the numbers.

The dealer can only take the credit tier that Kia Finance gives them. They likely won't quote you, based on a score that you provide. Find out what tier you are in from the dealer, then come back and ask for the corresponding money factor.

Multiple credit checks for the same thing (like a car lease) within 30 days, only counts as one check, from what I've been told. You can't get large amounts of credit, without letting them check your score.

I don't have any information on how or what is involved with the auto enhanced score.

Same question goes for the Kia Optima Hybrid (and Plug-In). I prefer the Niro but seems like the Optima's I can get better deals. Thank you!
