I'm about to put a deposit down on an inbound 2017 CX-9 signature and I'm curious about this information as well. None of the dealers I've checked with have those numbers, I'm just hoping they are favorable when they are released. Predictions?

    Who decides what "reasonable" is?

  • I set some baseline rules, but bottom line is neither the dealership or I set any hard written rules around refunding the deposit. So, that leaves me in a pretty flexible position. I've never had a dealer try and keep a deposit made on a "loose" agreement, but it could take a while to get back if need be. I'm not too worried about it.
  • I know it's not March yet, but any news on the 2017 lease terms?

Not until March rolls around. Nobody gets a preview on next month's numbers. Might impact current month sales.

What are we seeing for cap cost for 2017 CX-9 Signature?

2017 is brand new on the lot.

I suspect there are a lot of 2016's that Mazda wants to move, so they manipulate the MF to encourage folks to go with the '16.

Wait until the 2016's are gone and I suspect you'll see the MF drop on the '17's. No idea when that will be.

We don't track selling prices - use the 'make / model / year' pull downs at the top of the page to link to the price tools.

  • I'm asking a dealership to wait until a lease with another dealer is over next month. Knowing that the MF and lease cash can change, do you know when April's MF numbers come out, and am I correct that the lease cash of $2700 on the GT is good until April 30?

The entire Mazda lease program is scheduled to run through April 30th. We don't expect any new numbers for April, though that doesn't mean it couldn't happen.

    36/12 - .00196 and 63% (GT) or 59% (Sig)

    Add 1% for 10K

$2700 lease cash on GT; $1050 on Sig

Currently negotiating a 2017 CX-9 Grand Touring for my wife. They come up with $479 a month with 2000 out of pocket for 36 months, 12,000 miles per year. Here are the underlying details.

    MSRP:$43,665
    SALE PRICE:$40,998
    MONEY FACTOR:.00130
    RESIDUAL:62% $27072.30
    ETCH:$199(OPTIONAL)
    NJ SALES TAX:$1258.42
    DMV:$312
    DOC FEE:$399

I asked them why the residual and money factor were different than what I had seen in this thread and he stated the programs changed as of today. He also said the $2700 lease cash isn't available anymore so I'm not sure if they are being dishonest or what but definitely is a disconnect. Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks!

If they've updated the program, we haven't seen it, yet.
So, hard to comment on it.
The lower money factor would tend to make me believe it.
