That gives me $633/mo.
That's not far off.... about $575.

Ask for the adjusted CAP, and see how it compares.

My target on a loaner would be 15% off MSRP. That gives you about $1900 more to work with. ($60/mo. less)

I asked that I would pay the Acquisition fee upfront because I was in the impression that it'd reduce my monthly payment and does not get included in the Cap cost if I pay upfront. I asked to clarify on the $1663.08 Cash Cap reduction and other fees of $914.52. Any advise would be appreciated.

I don't want to pay acquisition fee upfront if that still gets factored in the gross cap cost.

.00182 MF and 60% residual

It doesn't matter if you pay it upfront, or they roll it in, and then you make a down payment to cover it. The net effect is the same. The reason they roll it in, and then show your down payment as CAP reduction, is that it's a taxable fee, and that structure keeps the tax calculation straight.

Your $5287 due at signing:
$2000 rebate
$629 first payment
$80 doc fee
$914 other fees (I assume this is AZ DMV fees, with maybe some CA transfer fees, as well?)
$1663 CAP reduction (down payment, effectively paying the acquisition fee and some extra down)
I think that adds up.

The bottom right column has a typo. Your amount paid in cash should be $3287, right?
The payment calculation is correct to the penny.
I don't know AZ DMV fees, so you'll have to find out if $914 is correct.

As I noted, you are paying it upfront, it's just added in, and then your CAP reduction covers it.

There is no Federal tax credit for a lessee.
The bank gets the tax credit.
There is nothing to negotiate with the dealer for, as far as tax credits.

I'm not sure if the 530e qualifies for a CA state credit.
But, you can look it up, here:
https://www.driveclean.ca.gov/pev/Costs/Vehicles.php

If it qualifies, CA sends you a check, after you've contracted for the lease.

Hey everyone - I've shopped 4 dealers in Houston for a heavily optioned custom '19 550. 2 dealers are competitive and are offering 5% (invoice, including all fees through destination/delivery) and 6% (below invoice) off MSRP with 60% residual, 0.00228 mf on a 36/10 lease. The one with the 5% discount is guaranteeing current manufacturer incentives and any improvement in them between now and delivery. The 6% dealer is only offering the manufacturer's incentives offered on delivery (I won't agree to this). MSDs are available, although I don't have the terms yet.

My questions are the following:

1) Are they adding a spread to the actual MF? it seems higher that what I'm seeing online.
2) Are the discounts reasonable?
3) Which view of the manufacturer incentives is correct?

1) Yes, that's maximum markup. Base MF is .00188
2) Eh.. average
3) No reason that dealer #2 can't offer what dealer #1 is offering. BMWFS allows them to lock in the program, and also offer program at delivery, if it's better.

That is correct.

You want the big discount and the base MF, if possible.

In the beginning stages of looking for a new lease. Looked at a demo 2018 540 Msport today in north Alabama, which was a nice car but seems a little on the high side being a demo. MSRP is $73,335.00 with less than 5,000 miles. My dealer is showing me a discount of $6,385.00 and a rebate of $3,000.00. MF rate of .00188. Doc fee, tax and title are around $830.00.

Are there any other rebates/incentives for this car that are out there? MF look ok? Is this discount of $6,385.00 low? Average?

Trying to nail this down this week.

For a demo, the discount is too small.
12%-15% off MSRP would be average for a demo. This far into the 2019 model year, I'd want to be closer to 15%+ off, before deducting rebates.

I show $1000 lease credit + $2000 loyalty.
