Hi to all! I'm new here but i've been reading this forum for quite awhile now. Anyway i got an offer from a dealership with premium and navigation pkg.
The current month lease is a tax free lease. This provides you a monthly savings of $64.00. MSRP $38,380 Selling price $36,290 Dealer Doc Fee $50.00 Dealer add on Tint and wheel locks $490.00 Residual (39 months is most competitive) 51% $19573.80 Money Factor .00086 Registration plates $139.05 Payment $521.30
With a sell price of $1230 over invoice and $490 for tint and wheel locks I would say you are getting the worst deal I have seen on these forums in months. You want to get the car for invoice, $35,060. Max you should pay $150 for the tint and $50 for the locks.

I've been contacting a few dealers in the area, and this seems like the best deal to me. I've relied on this forum for a lot of advice, so I was hoping you guys could tell me if this truely is a good deal. Thanks alot!

hey dtawil im looking for the same car now and this seems like the best deal i have in the recent weeks. which dealership did you get this quote from. (city/State/phone) thanx
Sorry that you haven't been having any luck in your negotiations, cadenhead. Infiniti Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2008 G35 Journey with 15,000 miles per year are .00062 and 52%, respectively.
Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
You're very welcome, cadenhead. Unfortunately, I am not aware of any resource that provides accurate information on manufacturers' lease programs to the general public. Yes, Infiniti Financial Services' lease program varies by trim level, term, and mileage allowance.
Adding the $595 acquisition fee into this car's capitalized cost would raise its monthly payment from $455 per month to $472 per month. You can use the formula that it outlined in the following article to play around with the payments yourself if you want: Calculate Your Own Lease Payment.

I am new to this forum and to leases. I am looking to lease a new G35x or 7 sedan, and I am not sure if I should go for an 08 or 09. My hope is to get one with premium, navigation and with wood. What can I expect to pay on a 3 yr lease with 12k miles a year. I live in MA and there is a lot of 08's and no sign of 09's so I am not sure to try and get a good deal on an 08 or wait. Any advice would be appreciated and sorry if I have not provided enough info to answer the questions. Anyone in MA who knows of a good dealer or deal they got on 08 would be helpful too. I am a complete novice and could use all the help I can get. Much appreciated,
Or anyone else who has the info. Can I have the correct residual and money factor on a 08 g35x car with 10/k a year. What is the number for 36 months and what is it for 39?
I'm going to a dealer this weekend to hopefuly close on a deal.
G35x w/premium and nav package Selling price 34,800 Residual- 56% MF- .00096 Taxes- 8.25%
Monthly payment comes out to $432 and change. The only think I'm wary of is the due at signing which he quoted at around $2k. Does anyone know what fees are due at signing? Bank fee, 1st month, DMV, anything else?
If you are paying all of the other fees at signing then you will probably want to pay the dealer doc fee. From what I have seen on these boards it can be anywhere from $50 to $800.

Hello, if anyone is looking to lease a new 2008 G35 in Texas....you should look to Austin Infiniti. I had been comparing lease deals at dealerships in Houston, DFW, San Antonio, and Austin for a couple of months. This weekend I closed the deal @ Austin Infiniti on a Journey w/ Premium, Navigation, and Sport packages. It also has splash guards, a trunk mat, and a cargo net. The MSRP on the car is $40,085, the invoice is $36,508, and my sell price was $35,755 (or $753 under invoice). This was the best deal I received. The MF was .00062 and the residual was 52%. I did a 36 month lease at 15K miles a year. I drove from Houston to take delivery of the vehicle and was in/out of the dealership in an hour. Best car buying experience yet. If you are interested, send me a note and I'll give you the internet sales person I used (come on, I could use the referral $$ in time for Christmas!). She was extremely patient (I ask a ton of questions!) and was a pleasure to deal with.
And did I mention, I love the car!? What a blast to drive!
He just wrote me back that a 39 month lease was the special and a better deal. MF of .00086 and residual of 53%. Is he correct that this is a better deal than the 36 month? Also, when he calculated the residual he did so off the MSRP. Wouldn't the residual value be based on the actual sales price?
Also, I forgot to mention a key point. There is no Texas state sales tax (6.25%) on G35 leases through the end of the month (possibly through the end of the year - not guaranteed though). This may be the case in all states, I'm not sure. But with no state sales tax......saves you quite a bit of $$.
Can you email me the info of the person that you dealt with in Austin Infiniti. I live in Houston and have been dealing w/ 3 dealerships right now and I cannot get any decent price that people here have posted. My email is charles1626@gmail.com.
Could you also send the contact info to me? darkhawkkg*yahoo.com
thepostman and japorms26, any chance you guys would want to work together and see if we can get a better price? I'm looking to purchase pretty quickly.
I think I will wait until the December incentives appear before I purchase. If they are good, then I am in on the Austin deal with the other Texas buyers.
I am new to this forum...but I have a question that maybe someone can help me with. I am thinking of leasing a new 09 g37 coupe - prem/nav/sport. What kind of programs are other dealers proposing? I have a deal on the table that is 18k miles a year, 6200 down and 550 a month for 36 months. Is this a good deal? The car is loaded with ilum.sills, glass breakage sensor, mud guards and cargo net. The coupes are hard to find in my area so I want to jump if this is a good deal.

I have done some research on my own but with nearly 4k posts it isn't easy. Correct me if I am wrong, but out of all the posts I have read over the past several weeks none have matched the same config I am looking for and I have been told that the lease figures depend on model, terms options and month. To that end I have not seen the same request as I have posted. If that is not the case then I would be happy to use someone else's post, but tomorrow is Dec. 1 and my hope is there is a kind person who can give me the latest information, after all isn't that one of the purposes of a forum, post a message and see who has the answer?
I just received an lease offer from an infiniti dealer in CT. The 2008 G35 AWD with premium package with navigation. I would put 2700 down to cover all taxes & bank fees. The 39 month lease with 10K was $499. I think this offer was very high....The price of the car i was quoted was $41,000. Can someone please let me know if they think I was quoted a fair deal? The dealer seemed very anxious to negioate the lease price
G35x premium with NAV, Splash Guards and Cargo Net MSRP: 40180 Sell: 36305 39 Month, 10K Miles 595 cap cost reduction, First month, Title Tags and Misc 350, Tax Incl in payment $1478.10 due at inception Residual: 55% MF = .00147 Monthly: $486.99
Only thing seems above normal is the MF ... should I ask for a better MF?

I think you are asking a very generic question and hence no one can really answer it for you. Specifically, car deal are local in nature. If you live in a town with a lot of car dealers, you are in luck. Otherwise, the price you pay for the car (buy or lease) sucks. And unless someone bought or lease a car in MA in the last couple weeks do exactly what you try to do, you are out of luck in getting answer. The best way to figure out your answer is to get your hand dirty. Fire off some email to you local dealers and see what they have to offer. If you get 4 or 5 responses, you are pretty much getting market price. If you don't get that many reponse, your only option is to fly out to place like LA, S.F, or Florida where there are more dealerships to compete for your business.
I understand what you mean and appreciate you taking the time to respond. I have been looking for a new G for nearly 3 months now and have found the whole process with the local infiniti dealerships here in MA very frustrating. I have emailed 5 local dealerhips in MA and NH and can only get vauge responses to very specific questions. Last month I nearly made a purchase... I worked out a complete deal on a car and went in to sign the papers and as I was checking the figures they changed my trade price by $1400. I got up to walk out and I as I was leaving they switched back to our original deal but buy then I did not want to do business with them. In between this whole annoying back and forth with the Infiniti dealerships I was able to buy my wife a mini cooper and it sits in our driveway. I had the best experience with Mini. Worked the price, ordered the car, excellent financing, eight weeks later wife has an 09 Mini in the driveway and all I have is half answers, no commitment and dumb questions like what payment you want? UGH! I think I am going to have to move onto an entirely new vehicle since I can not get a fair or straight deal from any of the dealerships here in MA, a shame since I really like the car.
I am looking to buy a 2008 G35X with premium and navigation packages and would like a reality check on pricing. There are lots of dealers around here and they have large '08 inventories. Given the 4k incentives, I am thinking that a purchase price should be around 33k +TTL. Would be interested to learn if this is on target or am I missing something. Thanks.
You should not make a down payment (cap cost reduction) on a lease. You risk losing some or all of your cap reduction as soon as your drive off the lot if your car is totaled or stolen. Insurance companies only pay for the market value of a lost or stolen car, and the depreciation starts as soon as the tires hit the road with you behind the wheel.
If you are worried about higher payments take the money that you would have put down to cut the payment in a higher interest savings account. If and when you need to make a lower car payment take some of the money out of savings to help with the payment.

Bad advice, the point to a lease is to 1- get more car for your money, 2- as little down as possible. You have a good deal on the price of the car, and most leasing companies, I think Infiniti included have GAP insurance, which covers the difference between the actual amount the insuance company will give, and what you owe. The last three leases I had came with GAP insurance. Of the $4300, put $1500 down, and get a check for $2800, put that in the bank and use it for whatever you want.
Thanks Automann, i went to the dealership tonight and they low balled me big time on the trade in. They offered a $1000 less for the trade and a new monthly price of $394. Although probably still a good deal, I walked on the principal that the trade in offer was way to low.
I am hoping that December deals will be better as inventories still seem to be high. Does anyone have any idea what December offers from infiniti might be like, better or worse?
Same thing happened to me a month ago. I had the deal worked out with a dealership on line but when i got to the dealership the changed my trade by $1400. I got up to walk out and they switched it back but by then I refused to do business with them. Now I will wait to see what the deals are in December, even January if need be. I don't need a car, I want a car and therefore do not have to make a deal with anyone unscrupulous. Let me know how your dealings work out and I will let you know how it works for me too.
