Hello all, since this forum has helped me so much, I wanted to post about a deal I just closed yesterday in case it helps anyone else

2018 QX30 Premium AWD w/ a few small options like cargo kit, etc. for MSRP $39340.00. I forgot the exact cap cost, but it was ~$29700.00 for 39 months/10k.
Everything including taxes/acq fee/doc included gets me to a monthly final payment of $325.00.

So true drive off cost was $325.00 for me. This is a midwest dealer.

Was just quoted $354/mo inc. tax, $1300 DAS (includes $336 cap cost reduction, 1 monthly payment, doc charge, lic+reg, upfront taxes), family loyalty applied, on an MSRP of $42,070 and a gross cap cost of $32,770. Lease term is 39/10. Deal is in Los Angeles, CA. Do you think there's any more room for negotiation here? Thanks again for all your help!

We haven't seen any 2019 programs, so I can't tell you if there is a new model.

I have never seen a residual under 40% on a relatively inexpensive car before. I am sure other cars are lower I just have not encountered them. That is an incredibly low residual that could only be evened out with an absolutely massive discount. $4800 alone would not be sufficient. The discount would probably need to be over 20% to make this a viable lease deal even with the near zero money factor.

Dear God! Those are horrible lease numbers for what is a relatively cheap(In all senses of the word) car.

You can literally lease a QX50 or even a QX60 for less than a QX30 at the moment. The QX60 may be too big for some people's needs. However, the QX50 is light years better than the QX30 and they are a relatively similar size. Unfortunately, there is no good reason to lease a QX30 at the moment. The QX50 will be the better choice in all circumstances right now.
