Plugging in the numbers in the post before yours -- the lease for your vehicle at 15k miles per year should be $544 plus tax and fees. At 12k miles yours should be a bit less. What money factor was your dealer using?
The money factor is 0.0005 for the lease which works out to 1.2%. Your calculation does not seem to be true because the current lease programs all over Mercedes benz website and at the dealerships are 549.00 per month for 48months for a ML 350 automatic with only 10,000 mile per year with over $5,000.00 down. I would love for the deal to be 549.00. However ther are no known programs at mercedes benz finance with payments for $549 plus taxes and fees for 48 months with15,000 miles and $2100.00 out of pocket on a vehicle with an original msrp of $54450.00. If there is one, please give me the dealship info.
Note that there was only one ML 350 in the Northeast with the equipment mentioned above that was in stock. My local dealer did a swap with another MB dealership in MD and is having the car picked up and transported via Truck.
Hey bettyblu. Yes, Mercedes' lease program for the ML320 Bluetec is different from its program on the ML350. Mercedes-Benz is not currently providing any lease support on the diesel ML. As a result, if you were to lease one through MB Finance, you would have to use its standard lease program...which isn't very good.

He gave me a 0.00050 / 36% whereas you have posted a figure of 0.00050/44% for a 48 mth lease at 15 k miles per year. Kindly let me know whats the right value and if your value is right, how do I prove to dealership that they are giving me an inflated value. Sales mgr also told me that he will write to edmunds that they are posting a wrong lease value but I told him that my reliability factor on car man is much more and I have tested in my previous two leases.

If you were in the market for a lease of a non-demo ML320, I would advise you to shoot for a selling price of as close to dealer invoice as possible.
The question on this deal is how much of an additional discount should you be getting for going with a demo model that already has over three thousand miles on it. The problem that I personally have with demos is that dealers never seem to be willing to discount what to me is essentially a low mileage used vehicle enough for me to personally justify going with one over an equivalent brand new model. I personally would want at least an additional $2,000 discount to go with this truck over a non-demo and I highly doubt that the dealer would be willing to cut its price by that much. Your threshold for going with a demo may be different.

The dealership tells me that my deal is incredible. That my lease beats most leases by about $100/month or $4000 cap cost payment and that he was able to do this by using what he calls an ambassador program.

based on my experience, there is approx 20 dollar difference between 10 k and 12 k lease and 30 dollar difference betwene 12 k and 15 k lease. Obviously actual values would differ per your duration etc but this will give you a ball park idea.

As far as the selling price goes, I personally would shoot for $500 to $1,000 over dealer invoice minus the $2,000 cash incentive that Mercedes is currently providing on leases of this truck and whatever other cash incentives you qualify for. Here is what I did: I went to link title, where you can go to "Dealer Quotes", select your State and request a quote individually from every Mercedes-Benz Dealership in the country. Let them compete between themself. Whoever comes with the lowest price - earns my business. I did not care about rates or residuals, etc... All I care - who can give the lowest payment. The best deal I got on my E350 was $2,100 below invoice plus they had $2,500 incentive at the time, but I did not care about all that. The only thing made a deal is the lowest payment. Hope it helps.

Audi Man, why do you think dealers are willing to sell below invoice before rebate? I haven't heard or seen anything like that...but then again I haven't heard from anyone who's purchased one lately. I'm hoping to hear from more people on here.
What concerns me is that I really want P2 because for '10 they moved the harmon/kardon system to P2. Problem is it seems like Mercedes only ships ML's with P2 that are fully loaded with just about every package/option. I can build a P2 I want on the benz site for under 54 but any P2 I've heard of that are at dealerships are almost 58.
It depends on what part of the country you are buying from. If you live on the West coast - chances are you can buy below invoice, because in California there are 44 Mercedes-Benz Dealerships fiercely competing against each other. If you can't find exact configuration, that you are looking for - you can ask Dealer to build a car to your exact specification, but you have to wait for it about 6 to 8 weeks. Hope it helps.
I wouldn't mind having to spend a little more to get what I want but MB literally tacks on every option it seems if they ship out a P2 (which seems odd because P2 is only 2 options, the h/k system and keyless-go)...they add $5,000 of options on top of it.

I'm sure that you would be able to find a Mercedes dealer that was willing to make your final two payments on your Audi for you, but nothing in this world is free. Having them make your last payments will hamper your ability to get the best possible deal on your new vehicle. If the audi is super clean with extra low miles, they might want it in trade. This would only be in your advantage if your buy out is below trade in price by a grand or more.They would essentially buy your audi for more than the payout with you getting the difference to put toward the ml. There may be some equity in your leased vehicle. Probably not but worth looking into.

Do you think I have any advantages by returning my leased Audi to Mercedes with such low millage and get ML? or first return the vehicle directly to Audi and then get ML?
try taking it to mercedes first and get a trade in price after the discount you negotiate. Wait -- leave the audi at home. Get your best purchase deal and then say oh-by the way -- what is the trade in for this 12k mile q7. Don't say that it is a lease. If you get more than the 32k you are ahead. They buy - you pay off the car and keep the change. Let them tell you what they will offer -- don't fall for the -"what do you need for it stuff" Once you haggle a bit shoot for 2k over payoff. You might get more or you might get less. It is still under warranty and with those low miles they should be able to work with you. Don't tell them your payoff either. You may have some equity in the car. Go to the real world trade-in discussion and post the details of the car and see what volvomax tells you it's worth. Good luck.

They probably won't ask you if it's leased or owned -- may ask what you owe. You can truthfully say you owe nothing. But you need a great price. Don't need to mention the doors either. Maybe moot since trade in may be lower than payoff but you can still try. Trade in price is only an estimate. The mercedes dealer may really want your car. If he doesn't then you won't get a great price but you could ask for 1k over payoff or you are going to get a q5. That might get their attention. Have you looked at the q5 vs the ml? Might be a deal there.
You are great help man... I would get Q7 2010 again but the residual is to low 47% (36m/10k). Since there is a possibility to get deal with trade in I'll look into Q7 deal again.
I would be hopeful but in this economy I'm not sure I'd be optimistic. Your 07 should sell for mid to upper 30's retail but if you add on cpo costs -- don't know what to expect in reality. Euro-dealers will want your audi with only 12k miles -- trust me on that. Depends on what they feel they can give you to make a profit. Keep posting. Had a friend who was going to return her 06 murano to lease an audi. She ended up buying the murano but several dealers were telling her she had some equity to apply to the new car. May have been smoke and mirrors -- will never know. Good luck.

$48400 + $23955 = $72355 / .00050 = $ 36.
$ 509 + 36 = $ 545 for a 48 month least at 15k per year. All fees and taxes extra.
Run the numbers , I may have miscalculated. Forget about so called programs -- you have all the numbers to run the lease. It is what it is.
