Likely a slight hit to the residual for the miles, but we don't have the details as to how much.

At this stage is it better to lease 2018? I ordered a 2017 that just showed up and I need a ballpark to secure a solid deal. It is a gas HSE MSRP 62k. Can I get this 2017 under 55k?

No lease programs for the 2017 Discovery.

If they've ended, they aren't likely to come back.

Dealer may be able to use a local bank for a lease, but we wouldn't have any way to validate those numbers.

The big question: How does that payment compare to leasing a new 2018?

Thank you. I am amazed at how shady these dealers are in the Chicagoland area. They won’t provide worksheets. I was trying to compare a 2018. This was the reply:

“The lease for R18317 would be $865.47 using the correct money factor of .00221 with the 62% residual using the online $64,995.00 selling price.”

Is the difference a mark up on the MF?

The "over adjustment" is probably a residual reduction to account for the current mileage on the vehicle.

With that CAP cost and the residual adjustment, I get the same payment.

I have no idea of their cost structure on the 2017, or what they could sell it for.
Looks like a fairly aggressive deal for a Land Rover dealer.

They dropped the sale price to 53,600.00. It looks like there is value there even with the low RV? Buy is still an option @2.99 for 60. Need to run worksheet with that new buy price. 54% RV ouch. 

On the 2018 it’s roughly 69k MSRP 65k sell price 62% RV and a payment 885.00 base 956.00. 

Thoughts?

I don't have any more information to impart. I'd lease the 2017 to save $155/mo.
