Could be for third party banks (Ally or US Bank)

Ok.   So the dealership I am dealing with just told me my numbers are way off.  

They say the residual is actually 55% and the residual is 0.00093

This is Miami, FL.  Talking about a Premiere FWD 1.5L with convenience package and sun package.  MSRP on car is 36,950.

Any explanations?

What can I tell the dealer?

Ok.   So the dealership I am dealing with just told me my numbers are way off.  

They say the residual is actually 55% and the residual is 0.00093

This is Miami, FL.  Talking about a Premiere FWD 1.5L with convenience package and sun package.  MSRP on car is 36,950.

Any explanations?

What can I tell the dealer?

Confirm with the dealer if this is a GM Financial lease.

Could there be that much variation per market? Could the Miami, FL market be 'different'?

I just looked again.

55% is the correct residual for 36/12, and I confirm the base MF as .00080.

The information I have says "national", so the only explanation I have is that the dealer is marking up the MF for extra profit, or because they don't think you have top tier credit.

I confirm those numbers as correct from GM Finance for the month of August, 2017.

If they insist on the .00093 MF, politely tell them you won't sign a deal where the MF has been marked up. Then, find another dealer. Only takes one to meet your numbers.
