I hate to have to ask this but how/when does the lease cash apply. For example if I negotiate the price regardless of sale or lease then say I want to lease will they apply the 500 lease cash to the agreed price? Or does it come of the advertised price?

A dealer will usually include all incentives for any price they quote. But, GM often has different incentives for leases than finance/purchase. If you don't tell them you want to lease, then it's possible that all of the numbers will change, once you do.

Shop the car, not the deal. Drive them both (and anything else you are interested in), then decide which one you'll be happy with for the next 3 years.

Hi guys,  I have an initial offer from the dealership that I wanted to share with the cummunity. This is without making any kind of counter offer or comparing to other dealerships. One thing that is interesting to me is the profit area of the quote. I was hoping someone could explain it to me.

I really want to get the payments closer  to 300. We will see how that goes. Also I. I noticed they increased the interest by about a half percentage. Another dealer told me the MF was .00083. Should be able to get that. Anywho see below.

@joshcarrick The profit is an internal number that the dealership uses. It may have no relation to reality. It's mostly used to screw the salesperson out of a big commission, as they only get paid on front-end profit.

You'll notice that your money factor is marked up. That's the difference between the buy rate and the sell rate. That's called back end profit, and the F&I office makes commission on that.
