    Lease for 2 years. I am asking this by just copy/paste and do not understand all the terms people are asking for. I just saw on the KIA website that for the 2018 Sorento you put down around $2800 and $200 around per month for payments plus tax. This is only what I can understand. Can someone please explain to me the numbers and terms that are posted? Thank you!

    Hi am looking for leasing information for a 2018 Kia Sorento EX AWD V6 in NJ - with a top credit. What is the MF; incenitives and residuals for 36/12 and 36/15? Is 2,000 down; 54 residual; and 352 a month reasonable for 36/12? Thanks for the help!!

    MSRP is 36,990. But getting invoice price of $34,000. Title,registration,fees $907 ; taxes we are told are $1235. Total price $34,907 plus tax amount. Residual is $18,850. Incentives and rebates $6260. Money factor .00207. Monthly payment is $352 with $2,000 down. Monthly payment could be lower but they include some kind of tax in the price of car which bumps up monthly payment. Can this tax not be included in the monthly payment?  If so where would it go?

    Does Kia offer any additional incentives since I currently have a kid lease? also how can I get Kia to eat the cost of any wear and tear on my current lease which is come to an end? I have a wear and tear insurance, does that cover a lost key. Finally, can we shop around for money factor or is that the same for all kias.

    You are welcome to pay the taxes up front, but if the car is stolen or totaled before the end of the lease, you would lose that money.

    Ask the dealer what the $2000 down covers, if not taxes and fees.

    I don't know if a lost key is considered 'wear and tear'.

    No knowledge of any loyalty incentives.

    Relative to MSRP, that is a decent payment. But, it would be good to know what the $2000 up front covers.

    I went to another dealer and this is the deal they offered-MSRP is 37,045 . We are getting the vechicle price for $34,704.22. The tax is 1276.43 and fees are $1124.50. There is an incentive of 6250 and cash down of 1900. The adjusted cost is 28,955.15. Is $249 monthly a good price? With a down payment of $1900. Also I am thinking the acquisition fee of $650 seems high. What are you thoughts on this and the deal?

    What does the $1900 up front cover?

    $650 is the correct acquisition fee.

    Thanks! I was told by the dealer it would to bring down the price of the monthly payment. I also called Kia finance Dept and they told me the same thing. Does that sound right to you? They were initially trying to get me to pay $3500 down but I said no. With that, does the $349 (which includes tax)  sound like a good deal?

    Well, sure. Any money down will lower the payment, if it isn't used to cover the fees, etc.

    Our recommendation? Only pay the first payment and any registration costs when you sign the paperwork; leave everything else as part of the payment.

    Thanks Michaell. What great and timely advice! We were well prepared. The dealer was surprised we knew so much. Finally left a dealership feeling that we got the deal we wanted and not the one they pushed on us.  Also told them them as per NJ leasing law I wanted to review the contract for 24 hours before signing. So I was able to review the numbers before going back in to sign. Thanks again!

    Can you help me understand the lease cash number? (or point me to an existing thread about it?) I'm trying to figure out how to use it. Is it the total amount of discount I can expect off of the MSRP? Or is it strategically used in another way?

    The lease cash is a factory to consumer incentive, in addition to whatever you can negotiate off the sticker price. It's similar to a rebate, and will show up on your paperwork as such.

    All current programs are scheduled to run through April 30th.

    That doesn't mean they couldn't end a program early, but it wouldn't be likely.

    My apologies for the late respond.

    I live in Los Angeles.
    The LX i4 I inquired no longer valid due to no 3rd row ventilation. Kids would suffocate during summer.
    With that, may I have the numbers for the following:

    2018 EX V6 AWD 24/12 & 36/12 please.
    Dealer is offering me $1k drive off $419/24/12 or $379/36/12 (taxes included)
    No detailed break down given.

    FWD please. I thought the L trim only came in FWD? Will get the MSRP and selling price tomorrow thank you. :)
