Dealer has offered $4000 OTD and $550/month for 36 months. 12k miles a year. Hoping someone will weigh in on if this is a fair price for a lease, or if I should pursue a better offer? Thanks so much!

In comparison to the last deal, they say they dropped the price by $2000, but your payment doesn't change, and your upfront money only drops by $500?

That doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Yeah, you're right - at this point I can only assume they are doing some sort of dealership voodoo to make the numbers work on their side. I am mostly concerned about getting a fair deal OTD. For this model car, is it realistic to expect to pay less than $500/month?

Actually, given the MSRP and the lease program, $500/mo. and $1500 upfront looks like a decent deal.
Is it $1500 total due at signing?

$1500 downpayment and misc. dealer's fees + $500 first month's lease. $2000 total out the door.

Hi. I am looking at a 2018 G80 3.8 AWD in NJ. It is a demo with around 6,500 miles on it. Sticker is 45,500 and the dealer wants to sell it for 38,000 including the lease cash of 5,500 which ends up to be about 2,000 below sticker. I would think the price before lease cash would be much better given it is a demo. What do you think ?

I don't think that's a very good deal for a demo. I wouldn't be happy with that discount on a brand new unit.

Generally, we suggest you avoid lease to buy, but because of the large amount of lease cash, it might actually work if you lease, then buy it out after a month or two.
