So I got $4500 lease cash for a lease offer but they gave me a MF of .00090 is this a deal breaker? The residual matched what you guys told me. This was for a GS350 F Sport RWD.

What is the MSRP and adjusted CAP cost?
How big is the discount, before deducting the lease cash?

MSRP 56229.00. Adjusted CAP cost is 26,159 after fees and before rebate. Unless I've missed some other source of fees.

That adjusted cap looks like the residual value. You're looking for the selling price plus any taxes or fees you are not paying up front

I saw in an earlier post that the RV for a 2018 GS 350 RWD F Sport is 53% for 12k miles in Miami, FL. What is the RV for 15k? Is the lease cash incentive still $3750 with MF of 0.0004?

It's been a while since my last lease, when negotiating the sales price, once negotiated, do you then subtract the lease cash incentive from the negotiated price? I'm plugging in the numbers to figure out the depreciated fee and the finance fee.

    51% for 36/15

    I confirm .00040 and $3750.

Not sure if the $3750 is dealer or consumer incentive; if it's a dealer incentive, it's likely to be included in any offer from the dealer.

If it's a consumer incentive, negotiate your best price, then subtract the incentive.

So I guess only dealer would know if it is a dealer or consumer incentive? Or is there a way to find this out?

    It's a consumer rebate..

But, I would assume that any price they give you already includes it. Most dealers will quote the lowest price possible upfront, then hit you with the crap fees later. It rarely works the other way.. Giving you a high price, then saying.. oh, yeah.. here is some free money.

    Hi,

Think I am getting a poor deal but the dealer says they are all in at this offer. GS 350 F Sport with ML Sound, Power Trunk, Accessorie Package, body side moulding...

    MSRP $56,727. So California.

Selling price $50573 which they say they are taking a loss of $1,605 on the car.
They are then adding the Acq fee of $795.

The drive offs are $1,521 (1st month, reg, admin doc, etc...) which they are using the lease cash to pay for and the remainder of the lease cash is being applied as cap cost reduction $2,228.

Total cap cost after discount adding the acq fee and deducting cap cost reduction is $49,139.

They note on contract the residual is 51% with a bump of 2%. The residual value per contract is $29,526 which is 52%. They say as this is a mangers car and has 2,700 miles on it the residual is being reduced due to the miles already on the car.

There is a mileage credit of $539 but that is only $.20 cents per mile but I will have to pay $.25 when I return the lease. Should these numbers not be the same. I am also being told that I have a total of 36,000 miles and the current mileage is included in that. Is that true?

I have a few issues as I am being hurt for the miles on the residual as well as upon return of car and the credit does not seem correct.

They say they are all in but the car is not brand new as it has been driven $2,700 miles and this does not appear to be taking into account when calculating the discount.

Their payment is coming in at $591 plus tax. Seems high for a car in this situation of being a managers car with a a fair bit of mileage already on it.

I know that it is best to put zero down but what about paying the non-taxable drive off’s so that they are not included in lease payment and taxed. The drive offs don’t seem that bad.

I have three months remaining on my lease and Lexus Financial has sent me a waiver for these if I turn I early and will waive the disposition fee. Should I wait until April 3 and see the new offers or is there anything else I can do to reduce the payment?

    Thanks for any input.

Sorry forgot to ask if a 24 month lease would be better due to the higher residual value?

36 months is the sweet spot for Lexus; while the residual is higher for a 24 month term, there are fewer months to spread the depreciation across.

I guess my question is this - what kind of price / payment would you get on a brand new unit with 0 miles on it? That's the comparison you have to make to the demo unit.

Yes, the residual is adjusted due to the miles on the car But, there had better be a bigger discount from sticker to compensate.

Drive offs should include just the first payment and DMV costs - roll the other fees into the lease payment.

I wouldn't worry about whether they are "losing" money on this, or not. I seriously doubt the sales manager would approve a deal where there was a loss, somewhere.

So, you only get 33,300 miles, instead of 36,000?

Haven't seen a lease done that way, lately, but maybe that keeps the incentives in place? Sort of weird.
I'd check with them about that.

    The calculations are about right..

You have to compare the lease payment on a loaner to the comparable lease payment on a new car, to see how much you save. To just look at it in a vacuum, and say it looks high because it's a loaner... doesn't really mean anything.

    1) Check on the mileage situation. It's okay to take a lease like that, if you can live with 11,100 miles/year. But, if you really need 12K/yr, that won't work.

    2) If the first payment and DMV charges come out of the rebate, before applying the rest as CAP reduction, then they aren't being taxed. Paying them upfront would save a tiny little bit in finance charges, but it won't change the tax obligation.

    3) It seems like a decent deal, but it never hurts to push for lower. Keep in mind that it's just 35 payments, with zero out of pocket.

I have questioned the mileage as well as the credit they are giving me. They are saying that they are losing $1,609 or it is that much less than the invoice yet they show an invoice price on the deal and the numbers don’t add up to show the price is $1,609 less. I questioned them on that as well. I got an answer that they have given me the information I need but did not answer either of those questions. Seems pretty sketchy and I am walking away. I have a few months and may wait and see how the numbers are after April 2.

So just to be clear normally (not always) the mileage already driven would affect the residual but if I want 36,000 miles they should be added to the current mileage? So effectively on this car the mileage allowed at the end of the lease would be almost 40,000 miles? That is how I read your response. I know it does not matter for this deal but would like to know how it should work.

    Thank you

Yes.. normally, if you sign a three year, 12K/yr lease, you get 36000 miles of use. So, if it starts with 4000 miles on the odometer, you get to take it to 40000.

It's possible to do it the other way, but we rarely see that.

Can I have the 36/10 lease rates for a GS350 Fsport RWD in Orlando FL please? Any incentives available? I have a BMW lease too so if conquest is available I'll hopefully qualify. I currently have an IS350 lease thats ending in 4 months so if theres any Loyalty incentives I may qualify for that as well.

    54% residual

We don't have your region, but here is the next closest:
    .00040 MF
    $3500 lease cash
    We don't see any loyalty

    Your region should be similar

any idea why the dealer is telling me that the residual on the vehicle (Sticker Price $55,210) is $24,400 or 41%

For a new 2018 GS350 AWD? No... he's just wrong, or the car is being mis-represented.

    Hi,

    i just got a quote on a 2018 GS350 AWD F sport.

    36/10 $0 out of pocket for $771 a Month.

This is seems really really high to me.

I am in KY and wondered what the MF and Residuke are and any specials.

This is for a car MSRP $59K and some change.

What have ave people been seeing on payments.

    Thx.
    Paul.

Hello. I'm looking at a 2018 RWD GS350 in North Carolina. Could you please provide MF, residual and incentive? Also, I'm currently leasing a BMW. Does Lexus offer any competitor incentives? Much appreciated!
