Hey guys so I was supposed to pick up a 2018 SV w/ prem package today but it got delayed until Tuesday and now I am thinking about switching to the SL for $100 more and I wanted to see if you think its worth it. The SV with 15k miles they want $300 a month and for the SL they want $400. I think it is a little too much and I kept trying to get them to do $350 but they won't go under $400. I think its because the RV is only 54% for the SL compared to the SV which has a 57% RV. I just really want it for the bose speakers but I also love that it has leather seats and a panoramic sunroof and nicer rims, but $100 more? What do you think? Both are true sign and drive $0.
Only you can decide if those extra features are worth an extra $3600 over the lease term.
The MSRP of the SL is also much higher than the SV, which, when coupled with the lower residual, will inflate your payment.
Yeah I guess you are right. I just wanted to know if they are charging me too much or if it's normal to be $400 but it seems like it is normal because of the residual and MSRP. Does the residual percentage of the SL ever go higher than the SV or is it always a lower percentage than the SV? But yes the difference in MSRP is $5000. SV is $30k and SL is $35k. I never understood why a car with less options would be worth 57% of its original value, whereas a car with more options is only worth 54% of its original value. It would make sense for cars with more options to hold their value, but I don't know that's just my opinion.
I thought you were getting a 2017 Rogue?
This is the 2018 model discussion.... if you want to discuss your 2017 deal, please re-post in that discussion.
No I went with my parents and helped them get a 2017 Rogue now I am getting a 2018 Rogue for myself because they don't have any more 2017 left where I live

The difference in residual is 3% between SV/SL. What is the difference in MSRP?
It's a $5k difference in MSRP... The SV is $30k and the SL is $35k. And for the SL there is a $400 bonus cash on top of the $1,575 but yeah they said they can't do anything less than $400 per month which seems a bit high to me.
I did the math and it seems like they are only giving me a discount of about $1500 on a $35k car. Because $35,000 - $1975 lease cash = $33,025. The residual value is $18,900 so $33,025 - $18,900 = $14,125 + about $2,000 in taxes and fees = $16,125 / 36 = $447 per month without any discounts. They are giving me a discount of about $47 per month which when multiplied by 36 comes to $1,692. I feel like they should be able to give me a better discount on a $35,000 car. If they give me a discount of about $3,000 then I would be able to get it for $350 per month which is what I was aiming for.

Well I didn't go into details but I said that I would like to do $350 and asked if they can go any lower than $400 at all and they said no, I think I will just stay with the SV for $300. They also bought my old car for a very good price so I think I'm happy. Thank you everyone.

With similar percentage discounts from MSRP, a spread of $5000 on MSRP and 3% lower residual, the $35K vehicle will be about $85-$90 more per month than the $30K vehicle... that's just the math.
So, if you are at $300/mo on an acceptable deal, then looking at $385/$390 for the SL (apples to apples). That wouldn't be worth it, for me.
Hi what's the MF/RV for an awd SV midnight rogue in NYC? I was offered 300 a month plus taxes for a 36 month lease with 750 down to cover First month and dmv fees.

How many miles per year?
AWD or FWD?
What is the MSRP?
What is the adjusted cap cost, with the taxes and fees rolled in?
Can someone help validate the lease payment quoted? When I calculate it based on the info I get a monthly payment of $287.46 before tax. This is with $2k down and rolling the 1st months payment into the cap cost.
36 month lease 12,000 miles a year, $2,000 total due at signing (includes all inception fees and first month's payment), your payment will be $296.92 + tax = $315.77 a month

It could be as simple as upfront tax on the rebate. The only way to get the correct answer is to ask for the adjusted CAP cost, and how it was calculated.

So am I correct in that the APR on the money factor is .072%? That is sooo low..
