Thank you! I am pleased! Yes I think so. The $31,722 is the sales price of $31,127 plus the $595 acq fee. Then after taking into account the CCR of $1954 ($1000 loyalty rebate plus $954 cash down is I think the right way to interpret it) so that comes to $29,768 adj CC. So I think the $2000 cash out of pocket covered that portion of the CCR mentioned above plus some of the fees like DMV and first month's payment, etc. The total drive off came to $3,000 ($2,000 customer cash and that $1000 loyalty rebate). What do you think? Am I interpreting correctly?

so if I read correctly, the July MF and residuals were largely unchanged since June, but incentives increased from 3175 to 3400. In other words I could have potentially saved $225 had I waited. Nonetheless, am happy with the 19 RDX SH-AWD base I drove away with this weekend. Sweet ride!!!

Given better leasing incentives I am considering going for a lease with early buyout. However, there is some confusion on how 'adjusted lease balance' is calculated. Here is an image of AFS lease agreement. Any thoughts if rent charge on remaining payments needs to be paid or not?

If I purchase the vehicle before the lease term, the purchase price will adjusted lease balance plus (a) any payments or charges due and unpaid under this lease (except excess mileage), and (b) and taxes and fees required by law. The adjusted lease balance is the unamortized portion of the adjusted capitalized cost determined on an actuarial basis. Actuarial basis method means the method of allocating base payments between (i) the reduction of the adjusted cap cost to the residual value over lease term; and (ii) Rent charges. Under this method a base monthly payment is applied first to the accumulated rent charges and any remainder subtracted from the balance of adjusted capitalized cost.

In my case, the base payment comes to $379.61 (depreciation) + $134.72 (rent)= $514.33

Under actuarial method, the remainder after each payment would be $514.33 - $134.72 = $379.61

If I do a buyout after 3 monthly payments, then the adjusted lease balance would be Adjusted cap cost ($36775) minus 3 x $379.61 = $35636.17

Component (a) would be zero if I am current on the lease payments, so purchase price would be $35636.17 + taxes + govt fees.
