For MY2018 when it first arrived in dealers (June '17), MF's were around .00150 or more. Then around August/Septembers MF's were down around or even below .00100 without significant change to the residual.

The super high MF for MY '19 can also be due to lingering 2018 inventory right (36/10k Limited 6MT model MY18 MF is .00035 residual is .54 but MY19 is .59/.00160 . But generally, does MF drop in the following months after the new model year first hits the lot?

You would expect the money factor to drop as the year goes on, but only because the residual is dropping, as well. I doubt you'll see any "deals"

Subaru numbers are national, so it won't make a difference where you get the car. Be advised that the doc fee is capped at $75 in NY, but the 'conveyance fee' is much higher in CT.

Another question: I have a 2016 WRX Limited on lease which is expiring Feb 2019. The dealership I am interested in advises they can buy out my lease early. I have 5 payments left at $350ea. My Lease agreement states the RV will be $20160.00 on Feb 2019. Do I need to verify my trade-in value for this car? It is in Very Clean condition. Will the dealership pay off the remaining $1750 to buy out my lease and since the car is being "traded-in" earlier than the end of my lease will it be valued more than the $20160 that was estimated at the leases termination? What I am asking is do I have equity in the lease and what is the trade-in value i should expect to negotiate with the dealership?
