Thanks much. Looking at the numbers then (MF, Residual etc), even though the AWD is higher priced in terms of MSRP, it still turns out to be a better deal than the RWD then, is my understanding correct ?
Next, the dealer mentions, if one avails fleet discount then manufacturer incentive cannot be applied, its either/or, have you heard that before and is that true? I am also trying to see if I can negotiate a loyalty discount since looking at switching lease from C300 to E300, any ideas on what the normal loyalty discounts are?

I wouldn't assume the AWD would have a lower payment. It will probably be close.

One thing I noticed missing on these forums as compared to the last time I was active (2016) is, that a lot of folks used to share the offers being made to them from the dealers and that would provide valuable insights in terms of discounts being received from specific dealers, %age discounts on MSRP etc etc. I do not see much of that anymore. No, this is the primary thread for all things E-class lease related. Can't really explain why more folks don't post their quotes or deals.

I was able to get roughly 12% off MSRP on an E450, which took some time. Not my greatest discount ever, but a new E wagon in March is different from a leftover discontinued diesel car in June.

FYI, here was my deal 3/31/19, Zip 43017: E300 AWD 48/10. MSRP $63,375, Cap Cost $54,999, Adjusted cap cost with sales tax and fees $59,571.23. MF 0.00131, Residual 48%. Monthly payments $700/month (Cost me $700 out the door, which included the 1st month's payment--no additional document fees, etc). I added 2 prepaid maintenance services which increased the monthly payment to $715.96/month.

I was pleased enough to take it - "standard" MF was awful even at T1, and residual nothing special, so I had to try to get something. It's a splurge, and I will appreciate it.

No regrets either, it is such a nice car, I still feel a little out of place in it. I definitely lower the age and wealth stats for that model I read wagons are only 4% of the E product mix in the US.

Marginally on topic, ~2 weeks in, still pleased with the car. The prior E was a good car, and this seems to be a notch higher in terms of a posh ride and refined feel, maybe because it is the "luxury" trim with a softer suspension. Build quality is huge, materials are very fine, it feels like a smaller S-Class in a way. If only it leased cheaper

The only state where we recommend you pay the sales tax up front is NY - if you add it to the cap cost, it gets taxed again.

MB numbers are national, so the dealer location won't matter.

The dealer is allowed to mark up the MF for extra profit, but that is a very small markup amount; we would expect to see a markup of .00050 to .00100.

It won't hurt to tell the dealer you won't sign for any deal unless you get the base MF; I'm sure you can find a dealer willing to accommodate that request.

You tell them you won't sign any deal unless you get the base MF; don't negotiate it - they know what the rate is.

If they refuse, find another dealer.
