    Ugh, neither state is terribly lease friendly - both have extremely high registrations costs.

    Which state are you moving to? You'll end up paying sales tax based on where you register the vehicle, and it doesn't make sense to lease something, then immediately put 1000 miles on it for the move.

    Sounds to me like you aren't a great candidate for leasing, IMO.

    What term and mileage allowance?

    Considering TX sales tax, I think $430/mo. will be nearly impossible.
