Mostly pros.. it lowers your money factor (and payment), in exchange for letting them hold your deposit money.
Each deposit is the amount of the payment, rounded up to the next $50 increment.

Cons? You have to come up with ten payments, upfront, as a deposit.

Hi, yes 12K. MSRP 42,295, discount 4,600. I am being quoted $521 per month with 2,000 down. I am coming up with 477 including tax? if I put down 500, then 521 seems reasonable. By incentive, is that something I should include as going to the dealer? Am I accurate in my estimate?

Mercedes-to-dealer incentive. It will be incorporated into any offer.

Are you using the sale price as the adjusted CAP cost? If so, your math is correct.

But, that assumes that $2000 covers all of the fees plus first payment. And, that might not be the case.

Find out the adjusted CAP cost, and how they got to it. And, push for the base money factor. I'll guess this vehicle is not a hot seller, and they will bargain.

If I go by the numbers they gave me, 42,695 msrp, neg. price 37,695, res value at 55% of 23,262; fees 2,399, down pmt 2,000, rate, .0009, tax, I come to 500 per month, and they have 521. So Ad. Cap Cost is 38,094; fees include Conv. fee, Aq fee, invisible vin, which I don't need. There is no mention of the first month payment included.

I would ask for the adjusted CAP cost, just so there is no confusion.
Is $2000 the full amount due at Signing (or is that the part we don't know?)

There are still three months left on the existing lease, Dealer is offering to waive them. Is there anything good in this for me, since I will have to start paying the new lease? Am I better off just running out existing lease and get a new one then?

Mercedes has an official "loyalty accelerator" plan, where Mercedes ends the lease early, with no cost to you or the dealer. In this case, no downside to rolling out early, assuming you can get a good deal on the new one.

You should balance that against the price you might be able to get in July vs. April.

Then two dealers are giving different discounts off MSRP., what is the amount off that is reasonable? where do they put $500 insentive? Is there any wya to determine if I can get a good deal in a couple of months?

If you use Edmunds tool, you can also get their opinion of an average price:

They don't put the incentive anywhere for you to see, as it is a Mercedes-to-dealer incentive.

There is no way to know what future lease programs will be.
