I've got 2 deals on the table right now. Both are for a 2019 25T Premium

1st:
msrp $57590 - selling price 55500

monthly $667.07 with 2k down.

2nd $52548 - selling price 51000

monthly $642.58 with 2k down

My gut feeling says there is still wiggle room on selling price on both of these deals. They are both claiming there is a rebate of $2600, but if that is dealer-cash they would be making $2600 if my understanding is correct.

Which means that both dealers are gouging you, just one more than the other.

Tell them, in no uncertain terms, that you won't sign a deal unless you get the base MF.

$432 of the dealer fee, leaving $202 to be added to the cap cost

$57,574 - $6783 + $202 = $50,993

WIth the MF and residual I supplied, $586/mo

So, either the cap cost or MF are different from what I'm assuming.

Have a chat with the dealer to understand what the differences are.

Dealers will try to use anything as excuse to avoid the truth.

Sadly, pretty common at Jaguar and Land Rover dealers.

It seems like all dealers won't do a .0001 MF- What should I consider as a good deal? Does JFG make a profit over the base MF or is it the dealership. What should I focus on in terms of making a deal on a 2019? I am looking for payments around $500-600 for a 36 month 10 or 12 k. I know JFG have a 3k customer cash or a dealer incentive that cannot be combined and a 1k texas lease offer that can be added to either one of the two cash incentives. I even don't mind going out of state to purchase. Since my last less that is ending in 2 months with GMAC, I got screwed on, I don't want to repeat that.

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated

Your FICO isn't the issue. The dealer is marking up the rate for extra profit.

The dealer gets about 70% of the difference in money factor markup. This is because they get their money upfront, and the bank gets repaid, over time. Essentially, all of the markup profit goes to the dealer.

Jaguar/Land Rover dealers generally suck. I'd walk to another brand, before I'd get screwed on a giant markup.

Is this a good deal on either vehicle? and why would the dealer lower the RF to 49 from 51% that is listed on this thread for the Premium? Invoice is about 50k minus the incentives should be about 47k and the dealer price is 48k. Any help would be appreciated
