    Hi,

Looking for the MF and RV for a 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude 4x4 (36/10), Zip is 11426. Also wanted to inquire about any incentives.

    Thanks

    .00025 MF and 51% residual
    $4250 incentive
Is it possible to have a breakdown of the incentives? Also wanted to know where I can find information on the credit score range for the different tiers for leasing a GC. Thanks in advance.

What are MF/Residuual/Incentives/Acquisition Fee in April for a Grand Cherokee Limited in South Florida, excluding any incentives that require ownership or lease of a specific brand of vehicle? Also, can USAA be added to all other incentives? Is it $500? Thx!

My Daughter has negotiated a lease on a GC Altitude (zip code is 07764). She has been told all the following rebates totaling $4,500 apply:

$2,000 NE Lease Bonus Cash (NELKB)
$1,000 NC Chrysler Capital 2019 Bonus
$750 NE BC NY DMA Bonus Cash (NECK8)
$500 NE BC Conquest Lease to Retail/Lease (NELKJ) - she is coming out of a BMW X1
$250 NE BC Lease Cash (32LK1)

She has also been told there is no bank fee when leasing through Chrysler Capital - not sure if a promotion of this is typical. Can you confirm which?

Dealer has offered to take ~$3,000 off the msrp. Total of lease payments on a $42,980 msrp Altitude at 36 months with $15K miles per year comes out to $425 (plus tax). RV is 48% and MF is 0.00025. Out of pocket at lease signing is $425 first month, $399 doc fee and $406 MV fees.

Problem is her existing BMW lease is not up till the end of June - so two months remaining on existing lease at $350 per month. She is over her miles so running up $250-$300 per month in excess lease charges. If she pulls the trigger on this GC, she will have two lease payments for two months but will stop accruing additional mileage overage charges on her current lease (roughly a 60%-70% offset to the second lease payment). She would turn in her X1 early (and pay remaining lease obligation of course).

So the question we are faced with is take this deal now or roll the dice and wait till end of May or end of June and see what rebates and incentives are offered then (as well as what the RV and MF will be). Each 1% drop in RV costs her $430 and there is of course the worry that some of these lease incentives won't be renewed (could be replaced or more than replaced with others, but who knows).

Given you guys track this stuff every single month, how would you handicap the act now vs wait situation we are in? Rebates more likely to increase than decrease in May/June? RV likely or unlikely to drop as another month passes by? How likely is it that MF would change in May/June?

I am not asking you to predict the future, but rather if in our shoes and knowing what you know (which is a lot more than we do) and having the perspective you do, what would you be inclined to do?

We need to make the decision very soon so any help/intelligence/perspective that can be provided right away would be great appreciated.

    Sorry for the long post.

    Kind regards,

    Mike

We don't know what the future will bring, but it's hard to imagine that you couldn't get a similar deal next month, or the month after..

Yes, you'll accrue mileage charges, but turning in a vehicle early isn't always as simple as making the remaining payments.

    Thanks kyfdx.

Called BMW yesterday and they confirmed she can turn the car in any day between now and the lease end date.

The $4,500 in combined rebates seem kind of high to me (relative to the rebates I am seeing in other parts of the country). However, you guys track this stuff and maybe it's not as unusual as it seems to my uninformed eye? My gut would be the incentives increase the further one goes into the quarter (and the incentives in June likely to be higher than in April or May), but maybe I am wrong. You guys see/track this stuff over months and quarters and years, thus the reason I am reaching out for perspective.

Also, I've personally been bitten by a drop on RV from one month to another on the vehicle I am currently leasing. Never anticipated that would happen (it was from June to July of 2017 on a 2018 model year vehicle). That is why I brought that up.

Lastly, is the zero bank fee a standard practice for Chrysler Capital?

    Thanks again.

It's true, the values can change, and it could be to the negative side. As mentioned, we don't know.
Chrysler Capital often runs special incentives (such as waiving the acquisition fee), but it's not standard practice.

Incentives are high in your area, but not necessarily nationwide. I agree, if residuals go down, incentives often increase to make up for it.

On the plus side, if you wait for May, and the numbers aren't great, you have another month with the vehicle, to see what June might bring.

One other thing. If you are over on mileage now, how will that change with a new lease?

Her current lease was only 10K miles per year, the new one will be $15K miles and should cover her anticipated mileage over the next 36 months. She also may use the lease as a form of cheap financing - in other words she may exercise the buyout on the Jeep assuming she likes it (as the buyout is pretty good at 48% or about $20,600).

Except that residual values are set by the bank to achieve a particular payment, not necessarily to reflect accurate market values 3 years from now.

Would you want to buy a 3 year old Jeep for $21K when market values are showing $18K?

If the intention is to keep the car longer than the lease term, better to just buy it from the start.

Michael, it will depend on the FMV at the lease end vs the purchase option. It could make sense or might not.

We decided to hold off on the lease this month. We will revisit again in May or June. Comments from kyfdx were (among other factor) helpful in getting us to this decision.

Rarely is the FMV equal to or greater than the contracted residual value. But, it does happen.

    Good luck with the shopping.

Thank you so much for all your help guys!! And sorry in advance for all the questions.

May I have the breakdown of incentives for jgc limited X 4x2 36/12 in 33021. Also, I am trading in a jgc lease when I go so is there a loyalty bonus?

Mf .00021 and RV 50% still?

dealer has listed a 1495 destination charge on the sticker. How feasible is it to tell them to waive this fee?

what is a good monthly payment I should be shooting for on this?

    Thanks much!

The destination charge is just part of the MSRP. The dealer has nothing to do with it. .00021 MF and 49% residual Total Cash of $3250 includes: $250 2019 Lease Cash 66LK1 (excl. Pacifica Hybrid) SE exp. 04/30/2019 $1000 Chrysler Capital 2019 Bonus Cash **CK5 (CA,MA,SE,SW) exp. 04/30/2019 $1000 Southeast BC Regional Bonus Cash SECK7 exp. 04/30/2019 $1000 Southeast Lease Bonus Cash SELKJ exp. 04/30/2019 No info on loyalty We don't track pricing. But, you can research it, here: https://www.edmunds.com/tmv.html
Thank you so much for the info. I really appreciate it! Are the 36/10k RV 50% and 4250 incentives? if so, where does the extra 1000 in incentives come from? Thanks again for helping us out. we'd be lost without you.
I confirm 50% RV for 36/10 We show only $3250 in incentives. Where do you see $4250?
Could have sworn that’s what it was 1 week ago. On another note, dealer offered me 500 a month tax inc for a limited X 36/12. Just have to make the first pmt and tag at signing. Msrp is 46,385. Good deal or try and get lower?

Can you provide MF and residual on the 4x4 GC Laredo E and Altitude in 07746 for 36/12k? Also, can you verify these incentives? I saw them advertised on a dealer website in a lease special.

$250 Northeast BC Lease Cash (everyone qualifies)
$2000 Northeast Lease Bonus Cash (everyone qualifies)
$3500 Northeast BC 2019 IDL Bonus Cash (everyone qualifies)
$750 Northeast BC NY DMA Bonus Cash (everyone qualifies)
$1000 NY Auto Show Bonus Cash
$500 Northeast BC Conquest Rebate (must be current owner/lessee of non-Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge or Ram to qualify).

    Thanks

Hello are the rebates based on the zip code your register the car in or the zip code of the dealership? In Los Angeles, it's $3250 and in San Diego it's $2250. Just want to verify. Thank you.

I'm not sure of the rules for Chrysler Capital. I would assume it is the dealer location, though.

Hi, quick question. The Jeep website is advertising their Freedom Days no monthly payment for 90 days offer. In order to qualify for this do you have to use a conventional loan or is it also valid on leases?

Hi. Can I please have MF, residual, and any incentives for a Grand Cherokee High Altitude 4x4 for a 36/10 and 24/10 term in 15229? Thanks!

The dealers are hiding behind the rebates. Looking at a 42K MSRP 4x4 Altitude. I am getting 4250 in rebates but they are only discounting to 36000 total. I feel like there should be more off MSRP from dealer before applicable rebates. In any event they are at 470 true zero down with me making just 35 payments. Hoping to get to 425 tomorrow. What is average discount before rebates??

We don't have any information on that promotion, but were I to guess, it's likely valid for purchase contracts only.
