On May 21, I asked the moderator what was the money factor rate for a 2019 JGC Summit for zip 19810 I was told the Money Factor for a 12/36 was .00039. I had contacted a dealer located in 19073, just a few miles from 19810 via email to ask about the money factor and she said it was .00081. This was after I asked her twice to tell me the dealerships money factor. The difference is approx. $40 a month, which adds up over the time of the lease. So who's correct? Edmunds or the dealer located in 19073?

I have a quote from a dealer for a Limited 4x4 with MSRP of $43,235 and the net cap cost is $33,750 but the majority of the reduction is from rebates. The selling price used in the quote is only 7% below MSRP which doesn't seem like a big discount off MSRP by the dealer. What are your thoughts?

That's because the dealer is allowed to mark up the MF as much as .00042.

You tell me what they've done....
