    OK, wanted to give you guys the update. Made the lease last night at Covina Kia. Contacted about 9-10 dealerships in LA / Orange County before I got two in range to where I wanted to be - Covina and Downtown LA. Downtown LA wanted me to forward them the proposal, but by the time I got it finalized, DTLA was closed.

    Other dealerships either were terrible on the service front, or couldn't get cap cost close to where I needed it to be. One dealer for some unknown reason couldn't provide me with a 36/12 quote; kept quoting a 39/10 despite me asking numerous times to provide the quote I was looking for.

    Vehicle was the GT2, Pearl White, MSRP of $52,050 (https://www.covinakia.com/inventory/new-2019-kia-stinger-gt2-rwd-4d-hatchback-knae55lc9k6060172)

    36/12
    MF = 0.00185 (they originally tried to get me at 0.00225, which was the MF at Covina, but they gave me 0.00185 when I said I would register in LA)
    Residual = 45%
    Lease incentive = $10,050

    Gross Cap = $48.976
    Adjusted Cap = $37,144
    Amount paid in cash = $4222.37 (doc fees, license registration, tax, incentive tax, first month)

    Monthly payments = $493.66 before tax; $540 with tax

    I will begin research into an early buyout. Any pointers or tips on this would be appreciated.

    Feel like I got a good deal, would love some validation :laughing:

    I asked for numbers for where I live, 12020, in Saratoga County, NY. I haven't found any new GT1s for sale in in NY. His comment implied (to me) there were GT1s in Saratoga. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding. Thanks.

    No, we just simply provide the lease numbers for the ZIP code that is given to us.

    We have no idea about inventory.

    Thanks for all the help you guys provide. I was able to get a really nice lease deal for my Audi S4 back in 2015. Now I am looking buy a2019 Kia Stinger GT2 AWD, but I intend to lease first and buyout after first payment to get lease cash incentives. Do you have to money factor and residual for 24month 10,000 mile lease for zip code 19312?

    Edit: Thinking about it now, I do not have to really worry about money factor and residual after buying it out after the first payment, right?

    MF and residual don't matter much. You need to know the lease cash

    But, if you take a money factor bump from the dealer, then you might be able to get a lower selling price. Since you are only paying the finance charges for a month or two, that might work out in your favor.
