    No changes

    No info on pull ahead - though, at the end of my Jetta lease this summer, I was bombarded with emails from my dealer on this subject. I think it was more a dealer promotion rather than an official VW Credit program...

    I'd like to get the payment to around $300. So I'm trying to figure what I should offer for that.
    I did the work for you based on MSRP $35,509, Selling Price of $31,130, Residual of 54%, and money factor of 0.00049 WITHOUT accounting for dealer fees. You can search "Edmunds how to calculate lease payment" and they have an article showing you step by step. I have it pre-loaded in my own spreadsheet so it's easy for me to plugin my own numbers and that $381.79 I spit out does include NJ state tax at 7%. I'll defer to kyfdx, Michaell, or any other mods on here and they will give you the best advice.

    "Dealer fees" or "up front fees" are usually items such as DMV Fee, Doc Fee, Acquisition Fee, + First Month payment. The selling price they are offering you sounds good, and residual value and money factor are set month to month by VW themselves so you cannot change that. But if you can get $380 per month without any of the dealer fees (meaning only first month payment, up front) then IMO you've got a good deal on your hands.

    Please keep me posted what you are able to achieve as my truck lease is ending next month and I would like to go for a Tiguan SEL or SEL Premium R-Line.

If the numbers are the same for your Tiguan SEL, and using your MSRP and selling price provided, it comes out to $381.71. I don't know what your dealer's fees are, but counter-offer just first month payment up front. No $2,000 down.

    Can you show me the calculation where you came up with this?

    I'd like to get the payment to around $300. So I'm trying to figure what I should offer for that.
    I did the work for you based on MSRP $35,509, Selling Price of $31,130, Residual of 54%, and money factor of 0.00049 WITHOUT accounting for dealer fees. You can search "Edmunds how to calculate lease payment" and they have an article showing you step by step. I have it pre-loaded in my own spreadsheet so it's easy for me to plugin my own numbers and that $381.79 I spit out does include NJ state tax at 7%. I'll defer to kyfdx, Michaell, or any other mods on here and they will give you the best advice.

    "Dealer fees" or "up front fees" are usually items such as DMV Fee, Doc Fee, Acquisition Fee, + First Month payment. The selling price they are offering you sounds good, and residual value and money factor are set month to month by VW themselves so you cannot change that. But if you can get $380 per month without any of the dealer fees (meaning only first month payment, up front) then IMO you've got a good deal on your hands.

    Please keep me posted what you are able to achieve as my truck lease is ending next month and I would like to go for a Tiguan SEL or SEL Premium R-Line.
