I've spent quite a bit of time researching, and working on it. (Edmunds, LeaseHackr, LeaseGuide, etc) I believe it calculates exactly how a lease payment is created/calculated. Obviously, the biggest factors are Selling Price and Residual Value, with Tax, Dealer Fees, and Incentives playing a smaller role.

Here are some notes about the spreadsheet:
* The cells in blue are for you to edit.
* It automatically calculates a 10% discount for the Selling Price from the MSRP, but you can overwrite that.
* For the additional fees, I just entered what my local dealer was going to charge.

One thing I learned from this, for example, is that it costs $16 more per month to get the Premium Pkg. However, for only $12 more per month, I could get the AWD and forego the Premium Pkg.

I would love some feedback. Thank you, all.

Hmmm, with the supplied MSRP and net cap, I get $276/mo plus tax.

Something seems off with the quote; are you sure that all of the $2677 is going to cap reduction?

I still get the same $276/mo payment.

And, now I know why.

Dealer has marked up the MF to .00051, the max allowed.

Tell them you won't sign any deal until you get the base MF.
