We are back and forth between leasing for the first 2 years or buying outright. Do you need zip codes for where we would possibly lease to figure the residual value? Also - the residual value, is that what will be listed in our contract that we would then buy it out for at the end of the lease, if we choose to do so? We currently lease my car, but the residual is never very high, and the Gladiator's appear to be holding their value quite well. Thanks in advance!

(we think the standard MF is around .00225)

With a 73% residual, I'll guess that is an Ally or US Bank lease. We do not have their programs to compare.

Yeah, I'd agree that is not a good quote. I wouldn't start any lease with that much out of pocket; just first payment and registrations costs paid at signing.

Lease MF and purchase APR could very well be different, to encourage customers to buy or lease.

I call foul on the statement about tiers and miles. You can structure the lease any way you want, with as many miles as you need. The MF goes up only if you have less than perfect credit - or if the dealer is marking it up on you for extra profit.
