But that doesn't make it the best deal.

Longer terms have lower residuals, but usually result in less depreciation per month, and a lower lease payment.

Hi all, new to the thread.

As of today on Jeeps website, you can lease a Gladiator Sport, for 36 months, 10k/ year for $248/month with $3995 due at signing (plus tax title etc). This is based on an MSRP of $37,000 after dealer incentives.

Would any Chrystler/ Jeep dealership recognize and honor this deal since it's straight from Jeep?

I found an exact model nearly identical to the $37,000 MSRP. Just want to see if anyone has ever received a deal as straight forward as that, or how I can get that deal since it's being advertised.

FWIW, that $3995 will add over $100/mo to the payment, and the fine print will tell you that it excludes taxes and fees, which you'll either pay up front or add into the lease payment.

That's an ad, not a real quote. Talk to the dealer, get a true quote, then come back and let us know what you've learned.

MSRP of the vehicle before any incentives= $39,575

Residual Value/ buy out at one point was listed at $29,285 though it may have changed (I didn't ask again after re negotiating down from $300/mo).

Thoughts on the deal? I haven't signed yet, but it seems reasonable to me. I'm newer to the MF/ Residuals and what not, so hopefully the info is helpful to the forum as well.

I wouldn't start a lease with $4K up front.

1 - it masks the true cost of the lease
2 - you will lose that money if the car is stolen or totaled during the lease
