    Correct, $3995 is what I would be paying up front, then $255 a month for the payments. Nothing else as far as the dealership would be concerned.

    Looking for numbers on Rubicon 36/15 or 42/15 in 95014. Dealers have been quoting MF as high as .00254 which seemed excessive.

    We think the standard MF is .00188, this month, based on what other members have posted.

    Could be US Bank or Ally; those are popular alternatives to Chrysler Capital, which are the only numbers we have.

    Overland and Sport S numbers for 29414. Also - I have a local dealer telling me the manufacturer sets the residual values, not the leasing company/bank. I always believed differently, is it different for Jeep? They gave me MF for US Bank & FCA but said residual doesn't change between the two. Thanks!

    The bank sets the residuals. It's entirely possible that two different banks could have the same residual, though.

    The dealer is not allowed to adjust the residual; it is fixed by the bank.

    Could it be for 24/15, and they didn't make the adjustment for the mileage? That's a common mistake the dealers make.

    How much leverage does a dealer have to mark up the standard rate from Chrysler Capital? I’ve been able to get dealers to offer the price I’m looking for but then throw REALLY high numbers for MF.

    Yeah my credit is top tier. They didn’t even run it and weren’t willing to negotiate on rate even after I suggested that it would affect the rate. Their proposal was based on top tier credit at that rate. I’m convinced they were trying to make up some of the discount.

    I think they can mark up the standard rate by .00073.

    So, they could get up close to the .00300 mark with max markup.

    But, they could have been saying it's Chrysler Capital, when it was actually another bank.
