Is this a good deal?

I wouldn't start with almost $3200 out of pocket. First payment and RMV costs only; add the fees into the monthly payment.

But, there may be another $1000 or so off the selling price you could work to obtain. Remember, $6175 of the $8700 discount is coming from Acura.

Yeah, I think there's more of a discount to be had. Look at the deal above - $47K MSRP, $350/mo payment plus tax and $3200 due at signing. Rolling the down payment and fees into the deal still results in a payment around $430-450/mo

Generally, the TX tax credits (if offered), only cover a portion of the 6.25% sales tax. Usually, 5%, with the lessee still paying 1.25%

Check out this website regarding historical sales data. Probably get a little more juice at model year end but not much.

The important information from this data is that MDX sales slipped year over year for December ‘19 and January ‘20. Long term sales have been stagnant past few years which is why there are large incentives all year round. I’d say any time is the best time to buy an mdx.
