She said they could match the deal, were interested in my car and would do "whatever it takes" to retain my business. I figure if they give me $800 for my car, that would cover the second scenario. So $0 down and first month taken care of. Would technically knock my monthly down by like $7.

Maybe, the next dealer's doc fee will be lower

My final offer. Actual monthly came out to be $276.94.

Yes. It was below what I was targeting and for the Sonic Gray hatchback that was slightly more expensive than a sedan EX another dealer quoted.
