    Trying to get 2020 Civic Si lease for 79911 zip.

    * 1 of 2.5 Local Dealers quoted $526 to $536 OTD before running my credit.

    * Now they've quoted $605 to $613 for 36/12k $0 down out the door.

    *Honda.com for my zip (w/o taxes) state $396 for 36/12. $0 down.

    That's too much of a jump. Something is off. I really didn't want a new Civic Si, I preferred Type R or used Lancer Evolution GSR or older STI.

    Being pressured by family to lease a crossover, but not my cup of tea at all and too expensive in mid-to-top trim levels. I am a grown man, finishing his BSME and not 16. Only at home due to COVID-19 delaying my plans.

    I negotiated a 2020 XLE Premium RAV4 at $0 down, 36/12k at $480 per month for my younger sis 3 months ago. I don't want a $35k RAV4 as well. They get pricey and so do other Japanese CUVs, ditto for VW.

    I have financed a total of 10 vehicles in my name since 2013. Mostly trucks, 4 cars, and a CBR bike currently through Honda. Only 1 TFS account had 1 late mark years and 8 of them didn't. Just paid off and sold an SVT Raptor to the tune of $34k, but worried my last payment might be reported as 30 days. It hasn't even reported as paid off, but I got phone confirmation it's closed. I digress.

    I want something much cheaper and really don't want a $30-35k lease on my credit, unless it's the car I want 100%. Hence crossover = no bueno.

    Am I being ripped off by the dealer at nothing lower than $526 a month, $0 down? This is a regular Si Sedan.

    MSRP+dest. is $26,200 for Si I am certain. I saw $27.6k I think I recall. I was so turned off and bamboozled, I didn't memorize it. The figure of $27,#25 stands out. Just can't remember exact amount.

    Yeah, when you see that lease payment, everything else sort of becomes a blur.

    Try another dealer and see if the numbers get any better.

    I'd have to see the numbers it is based on, but if that includes all taxes and fees, not too bad.

    Includes all taxes etc. Total price for one pay. I don't have all the numbers but say based on negotiated price of 18,827 with residual of 13,053. I think something is off and that should come out better.

    Money factors are higher in the "B" region states (which TN is part of).

    Do you have the adjusted CAP cost?

    MSRP = $21,755?

    I do not have that figure, headed to the dealer shortly. I'm having difficulty getting to the binder they offered. Tax is 9.5%, registration and title fees about 75, and unknown extra dealer fees and rent charge, but can't imagine that much to bring to 7950. I was thinking more along the lines of low 7s up to a maximum of 7,500 for a one pay.

    Can you provide me with a rent charge on a one pay lease with adjusted cap cost of 20,000 and a residual of 13,053 based on the prevailing money factor 37664. I believe I was erroneously given a rent charge of 850, which seems extremely high.

    .00149 - .00080 = .00069 MF (one-pay)

    $22.81/mo X 36 mo = $821.16

    Considering this would be a one pay lease, should it not be

    (13,053 + 13,053) x .00069 = $18.01/no
    18.01/mo x 36 = $648.47

    I don't believe I would pay a rent charge on the money paid up front, rather just the residual.

    Could you clarify

    That is incorrect. A single-pay lease isn't treated as a CAP cost reduction. If it was, then there wouldn't be a discount to the money factor.

    Without the accessories, your one pay amount would be around $7300. That would be a good lease deal.

    Well that sucks. This is the best I could get in Northeast Tennessee and with much hassle to achieve.

    Last 2018 Civic LX lease in Southern California managed $6643.28 total.

    hi - i’m looking for the MF and RV for a 2020 civic hatch ex for 36/12. home is in 30350 but dealer is in 30161 if it makes a difference.

    also, is the $500 incentive the same thing as loyalty? i don’t qualify for loyalty but want to make sure there’s nothing else that i should be looking out for when evaluating this deal. thanks.
