I’m looking to lease a $53,900 Msrp Laramie crew cab for 12k/39 months. Ad was for $319 a mo with 7500 miles with taxes and fees up front. I need 12k a year. With 12k a year - they want $358 a mo w/ $3,900 down - taxes, fees and first mo payment up front or sign and drive at $524 - first mo and dmv - $200! more a month for sign and drive at 12k - No good - They offered me a sale price of 48k minus $7,500 in rebates to a final price of $40,500. When calculating this specific lease does the 48k or the $40,500 get used in calculating the lease? That makes a huge difference if they use the higher number - increases taxes and payment. Also, I would have to pay the full tax rate on the $7,500, mine being 8.625%? Thank you.

The adjusted CAP cost is used to calculate the payment.
Yes, in Texas, you pay tax on the full selling price, before deducting incentives, even on a lease.

$524/mo with just first payment upfront doesn't seem to bad for a $54K MSRP vehicle, especially with the onerous lease taxes in Texas.

The numbers on the left look to be for a purchase - lease tax in Indiana is based on the monthly payment, not the entire selling price.

If I subtract the incentive from the "Sales Price Sub Total" price (leaving taxes, fees, and the negative equity out of it), I get a payment of $541/mo.

Ask the dealer for a copy of their lease worksheet - that should have the breakdown of the lease specific numbers.

I'm trying to get a all in price of 10500 for a 42 mo lease. With the M.F./ residual quoted here, and a Selling price ~11.5% Off mrsp this should be easy! But every one I have talked to is turning me away.

Our numbers are from Chrysler Capital; we don't have the US Bank numbers.

Generally, programs update monthly, but there are times where extra incentives could be added - Memorial Day is one of those times.

We only have the CCAP numbers, and they aren't available publicly.

Do some shopping first, then request your numbers. A good lease deal isn't good if you don't like what you picked.
