As you mentioned on the other thread, 2019 1500 numbers will not be released until April 3.

I'm seeing (uninspiring) lease estimates in the 2019 build and price and inventory search payment calculators today, FWIW. Though the inventory search payment calculator still does not include options. That has been broken for years.

Well, sure.

Chrysler Finance and the dealers would like to incent customers to lease a 2018, so the lease numbers are more favorable.

When the 2018's are (mostly) gone, you'll likely start to see some decent numbers on the 2019's.

I'm still holding out hope. I believe they will lease pretty well. If you take a look at the 2019 Jeep lease deals the residuals are very high on those, so one would think they would be similar with this all new model

I would not extrapolate the residuals on the new Wrangler to anything from Ram. And, if the residuals are high, expect the MF to be high as well.

Don't know about the 2019 Ram eligibility for any incentives.

Dealer sent me this. Told me payment would be 658. This has 10k as well, I want 12k. Seems high especially with 5k down..... thoughts?

Yeah.. lease program isn't very good.. Not surprising for the first month.

I have leased lot of cars from Toyota, Honda, Lexus and BMW before. The online lease calculator does not take into accounts the options for calculating the residual... every other manufacturing does...
MSRP $56K options $9K, total configuration of $66K, the RAM site online lease calculator uses 56K to calculate the residual and payment !!!!

Is this how FCA lease work or bug on the website????

the RAM site is correct. what you may be missing is they throw in 10% down payment by default. Click on the "Calculate Payment" button below the summary. Then click the lease tab. Here you can remove the down payment and it clearly shows the cap cost. Down payments on leases are bad, don't do it. you don't save as much interest as you think due to how it is calculated and the money is at risk if the truck is totaled.

Thank you gr4000, I did take into account the down payment. I compare it with my own lease calculator which is 100% accurate and used it with multiple lease(s). The only way I could match the numbers on their website with mine was calculation of residual (base MSRP, with no options) and total cap cost with options. And I agree, you should not pay any down payment on lease.

No.. we don't know the money factor... It's likely in the .00195-.00225 range.

We don't track the MF trends - all depends on how greedy the bank is and how quickly the bloom comes off the rose as far as being the new kid on the block.

We don't show any numbers for an Express trim on the 2019, this month.

I wasn't aware Ram started production on the '19 Express models. I had thought only Laramies and Horn's until Fall. eTorque, Express and other models begin in August.

I looked again on ramtrucks.com and today they show new lease rate of 2.9% (was showing g 4.64%).
Did they update programs mid-month?  Could you confirm 36 month on laramie 4wd supercrew 10k for 06880...also any 39 month.

Chrysler Capital leases don't use APRs, only money factors.

We don't get mid-month updates, so whatever we had on April 3rd, is what we still have

10K is the lowest mileage allowance offered; 36/10 numbers are as follows:

Standard MF and 58% for both trims.

I was quoted 0.00178 MF (4.272%) for 2019 Limited 4X4 36/15 in GA. It seems high, is that correct? Residual at 55% which seems to be correct for April.

There wasn't any money factor support for April, so that could have well been the correct money factor.
