The incentive is to the dealer. Nothing to disclose, or prove. The $1250 will be in any price offer the dealer makes you.

Is this for sure available from Honda on a lease for a 2020 CR-V Hybrid Touring? That Hybrid part is key.

The dealership I'm talking to claims there is no such incentive on the lease of a 2020 CR-V Hybrid Touring.

The incentive is to the dealer. There isn't anything to show it exists, or to prove you're entitled to it.

Just use the knowledge that it exists to negotiate your best price - whatever you think that should be, subtract the incentive amount from it, and use that as your target.

$1250 incentive on both the gas and hybrid models of the CR-V

Thank you for clarifying. I did understand it's a dealer - not customer - incentive, but the dealer is literally telling me that they aren't getting any such incentive from Honda, so clearly they are not being honest. Given that they haven't been particularly forthcoming or honest about other parts of this negotiation process, I anticipate starting anew with a different dealer.

Thanks again for all your help here. This information makes the leasing process infinitely easier and less opaque.

All that matters is the price they offer you. The rest of it is just talk.

Was in market to replace older CR-V with a new model. Have only driven Honda brand for more than 30 years and dealt exclusively with one dealer for sales and service. While I have heard markups are occurring on some models, I was absolutely shocked to see asking price on CR-V, EXL, AWD model $4300 over MSRP. If that wasn't greedy enough there was also a "non negotiable" price of $2495 for floor mats, cargo tray, splash guards and "protection", didn't ask protection of what, knew I wasn't buying then. Also, $149 for "care package". Unbelievable. Not only will I never step foot in that N KY dealership again, not for purchase or service. Don't have to buy now and won't.

The Mazda dealer across the street was pretty easy to deal with, last December.
