Awesome, thanks! Yeah that's where I was going wrong with my calculations (including the customer cash with the lease). And right, I've been mixing up my wording around buying out the lease, since I'm keeping that as one of my options (buying the car, if only for a couple of months, when I'll hopefully have a new job and different options).

I'll look for $750 loyalty + $750 new lease loyalty + $250 lease cash, plus the difference (in cash, not a cap reduction) of my current car value that they agree to pay, over the current car's residual. I appreciate you.

If the Mazda dealer takes your car in trade, instead of you turning it in, you may not get the $750 lease to lease loyalty. You have to factor that in, as well.

Yes one of them is ending in January so I'm trying to see if its worth getting a new lease now or waiting to like December for a better deal but these are good incentives. Also my buyout at the end of the lease is $11,800 which is less than the market value so some equity there.

Add $30/mo for every $1000 of up front charges you roll into the payment.

About $1000 of tax, $595 acquisition fee, $400-600 for dealer doc fee.

We don't have the adjusted cap cost, which is the selling price plus any taxes, fees, etc, that isn't covered by the $1000 up front you are paying.

Our payment calculations are using the selling price given to us.

The more information you can get from the dealer, the more we can help you....

Taxes are roughly $750; with fees, total $2200.

Subtract out the $1000 (less the first payment) and you'll have to add roughly $40-45/mo to the payment

That looks about right.

It's about average for the CX-5; they don't lease all that well, to begin with.

Thanks... I didn't balk because the payment I agreed to with the sales team was 380.... When I was signing the papers, he mentioned gap was included. Than the maintenance plan he said was $371 but giving discount on $2.77 a month and payment would be 382.77...i agreed there as oil changes are $120 at dealer.

If they baked GAP in without really saying I am a little disturbed by that. This was also the first all digital signing I did. I usually hold the papers and look closely and reread. This was sign and click on the desk and all docs given to me on a USB drive. One more thing to look for at a dealership
