Congrats! Thanks for the report.

Just a note: Disposition fee is collected at lease end. I don't think the dealer has any control over that. If you lease another Mazda, it gets waived.

I currently lease an A4, so I unfortunately do know that about the disposition fees 😂. I was negotiating this for my gf and just wanted to see if they would accept it being waived. They did! Haha

I’m not very familiar with Mazda leasing/ discounts, but from what I’ve seen, it looks like it’s a decent deal....but I think she’s leaning towards a Jeep Cherokee because it should come back cheaper and be a zero drive-off.

Do you have any thoughts on the quality of the Mazda deal?

Thanks @Michaell - it appears the $2300 off is quite decent; Edmunds online pricing only shows about $1000-1500 off and truecar is calling the $2300 (7%) one of the better discounts on their bell curve. This deal was without any negotiations, just a straight show-me-some-numbers printout - is it normal that a dealer would put down what appears to be a solid discount as their opening play? That's the confusing part to me.

It's possible the dealer needed the next deal to hit a volume bonus, so you were the beneficiary.
