Dealer can mark up the MF, but can't alter the residual. However, that markup is awful small.

I'd get some clarification from the dealer on those numbers.

In NJ, we recommend you only pay the first payment and DMV costs at signing - roll the taxes and fees into the monthly payment. Less out of pocket, less risk of losing that money if something happens to the car during the lease.
