I would like to get this for $600 or under all in, no money down, but I'll admit that I'm a total newbie to this as I have lived in NYC for the last 10 years and have not owned a car in a long while. Any insight or help is much appreciated.

Florida is about the worst place in the country to buy a car.

I don't see the acquisition fee called out anywhere.

$949.50 dealer fee ... shew (same fee in NY is capped at $75 - sure you don't want to buy the car there and drive it down?)

Yea, so I hear about Florida. It looks like reading through some other people's posts that I can negotiate somewhere in the realm of 10% off MSRP if I'm lucky. It also looks like the acquisition fee is $750.

Is the absurd dealer prep fee usually negotiable? Unfortunately, we are going to have to buy the car once we are in Florida... and that's just for me.. going to have to get the wife a car as well. Do you think it would be better to wait until closer to memorial day to get a vehicle? My parents have an extra car that we can use for a few weeks. Apologies for all the questions, just want to educate myself as best I can beforehand. Thanks again.

The pricing issues won't be resolved for quite a while.

Better to negotiate a lower price than to work on the dealer fee separately.

You might find better deals at the end of the month, but I'm not terribly optimistic about that.

Most brands start leasing with 24 month terms. Not often you see anything shorter.
