    Hello,
Looking for a 2021 Kia Forte GT with the GT2 package (automatic transmission) in Snow White Pearl color
(Actually came across it at a dealer called Jack Daniels Kia in Fair Lawn, NJ)
Living in northern, NJ and shopping around the holiday (Thanksgiving through New Years Eve 2020).
I am a military veteran, looking to couple that discount with any holiday/lease cash from the manufacturer & dealer.
Wondering if anyone can help with an acceptable Money Factor, Residual amount, and taxes/fees that are absolutely mandatory?
A quick google search says I shouldn't pay more than $335 in doc fees and fair market price for this car is right around $24,000.
Looking for 10k miles over 36 months.
Ideally not looking to exceed $1500 down and $200/month.

Very new to learning about money factor.
Do i simply negotiate and wait to be presented with a monthly amount and calculate the money factor that way?
    (ex: .00116 x 2400 = 2.784% APR,
    $200 x .02784 = 5.568,
    So monthly would be $205.56 ? )

Thank you very much for that link. Extremely helpful.
    Two questions:
    1. How do i validate the legitimacy of the lease cash? Dealers seem to rebut that its not listed on the manufacturers website...
    2. All research suggests that a fair market price for this car should be $23,500 - $24,000 but dealer isnt willing to have that be the starting price for negotiation. Any advice?

    1. Lease cash is a customer rebate, and is treated like a down payment on the contract. Shop a different dealer if they argue the point.

Very new to learning about money factor.
Do i simply negotiate and wait to be presented with a monthly amount and calculate the money factor that way?
    (ex: .00116 x 2400 = 2.784% APR,
    $200 x .02784 = 5.568,
    So monthly would be $205.56 ? )

Wondering if I can get feedback here:
Receiving a quote from a dealer for 2021 White Forte GT w/GT2 package:
    $289/month for 36 months. $0 down payment.
    Good deal? Average? Bad?
    Feedback?

    Thank you very much.
Very new to learning about money factor.
Do i simply negotiate and wait to be presented with a monthly amount and calculate the money factor that way?
    (ex: .00116 x 2400 = 2.784% APR,
    $200 x .02784 = 5.568,
    So monthly would be $205.56 ? )
Nope, it doesn't work like that, at all.

    Try this link.
    2. We don't track pricing; check here
Wondering if I can get feedback here:
Receiving a quote from a dealer for 2021 White Forte GT w/GT2 package:
    $289/month for 36 months. $0 down payment.
    Good deal? Average? Bad?
    Feedback?
    MSRP?
    Selling price?
    Adjusted CAP cost?
    Amount Due at Signing?
    Annual mileage allowance?

    Hello,
Looking for a 2021 Kia Forte GT with the GT2 package (automatic transmission) in Snow White Pearl color
Ideally not looking to exceed $1500 down and $200/month.

    .00116 MF and 60% residual
    $1930 lease cash
    $500 bonus cash
    $400 military
    Thank you very much.

The salesman refuses to give me the adjusted cap cost over phone/email. Wants me to go into the dealership cost to get it. SMH.
He's been very difficult with me when I ask for gross & adjusted cap cost and which amount is actually being taxed.
Dealership is not know to be shady, but probably worried ill shop it around or has never come across an educated buyer before...

$289/mo with $289 due at signing seems reasonable
