    You were correct. They were quoting a rate with US Bank vs GM Financial.

    Can you look at Dec 2019 v Jan 2020? Would be interesting.

    Reason being can’t find an AT4 in stock so gonna likely get gouged and with no incentives I don’t see any benefit to rushing the purchase unless the rates are way better now vs later.

    I can't, but you are welcome to scroll through the 2020 lease thread and find the numbers.

    But, history won't be much of a guide, to be honest.

    A dealership near me in 43015 is quoting a 2021 AT4 crew cab at 36/12 with 0.00118 money factor (i.e. 2.832% apr), but on this site I heard it would be .00018 (i.e. 0.432% apr). Is it possible the response above to me was mistyped? 0.00018 and 0.00118 look like possible mistype differences. Either that or dealership is playing games with me or made a mistake in what they quoted. Either way it makes for a diff of 100/month lease payment.

    Probably not an error, from the dealer. Probably a markup on a massive scale.

    Simply tell them you won't sign with an inflated MF.

    I told them I won't take an inflated MF. They used a term called a buy rate, and they won't lease the AT4's at lower rates. They want 1,200 in sales profit on the car over what they say is their invoice, and about 3,600 it seems in inflated interest. So, walking

    Yeah AT4 inventory is low and demand is higher than Denali. Bet GM didn’t expect that (classic customer unawareness).

    So, every dealer is marking them up and in a lease that’s their method.

    I’m in the same boat. The 3-4 with the spec I want they know what they’ve got so I have no buying power. It appears a wave of new inventory is coming in the next 30-60 days though. So I might just wait. I don’t think the end of year deals are anything special (on a lease).

    On the other hand if you could consider the Denali, there seem to be a surplus of these and I bet they’d deal on them! Problem is they carry a 3000-6000 higher MSRP than the AT4. So you’re back to “settling” for the vehicle you don’t want and still paying the same as the AT4. So again, might as well wait.

    I want an AT4 Carbon Pro Diesel in Black, but can’t even find one in Northern California...

    The "buy rate" is the base MF that we quote when we are asked for numbers.

    If the supply is working against you, there isn't much you can do about it.
