There is a global computer chip shortage, which is hampering production of almost every make and model. Short inventory gives dealers all the leverage.

Using the MSRP and sale price, as is (leaving the trade out of the equation), I calculate $424/mo, plus tax.

FYI, the only discount is from the incentive; there isn't a way to negotiate any sort of discount in addition to that?

My suggestion is to use the equity to pay the fees and first payment only and have the dealer cut you a check for the balance of the equity.

Also, ask for a screen shot of the dealer lease worksheet, so we can see all the numbers.
