Quote looks to be in-line.

Just not a great program, or a stellar discount from sticker.

Nothing you can do about the former, and dealers are not keen to discount on special orders as much as they are for cars on the lot.

Ask the dealer what MF they are using.

I asked for a quote from a local dealership (zip 45202) . Please find attached. They gave me a higher money factor (only after asking) and with only a 3.4% discount. I just have a couple of questions.
1) The dealership told me that inventory is "flying" hence such less discount, is this a good deal?
2) What is the "capitalized taxes"? ( in the attached picture) I can't find it anywhere.

MF is marked up the max allowed (base MF is .00093).

In OH, tax is assessed on the sum of the payments, and collected by the state up front. You can pay them when you sign the paperwork, or you can roll them into the monthly payment (capped) - the latter is what the dealer has done.

Not that great of a deal, but inventory is short, so you may not have a lot of room to negotiate. The best practice is to shop multiple dealers, and insist on the base MF.

Am I missing something here? Quote is for a 2021 430i xDrive coupe in 43235. 36 months/10k miles per year. He says he's using base MF of .00093. I have two months remaining on my current 440 x Drive coupe lease that they're going to take care of. I asked for 7% off MSRP and no money down except first payment and fees. I come up with a lower monthly payment than this.

I agree with the math on that quote - they are rolling in all the taxes and fees, then subtracting out the incentives and your up front cash.

Just for the record, they are "taking care" of the last two payments by adding them into the new deal, so that $1500 is adding roughly $45/mo to the payment.

Also, their comment that you're saving $6110 is a bit disingenuous, as $2000 of that are incentives from BMW.

Why not wait until your lease is up, and remove that variable from the deal?

Thanks. I'm particular about color/packages and I wanted to see if I went for something I like that's already on a dealer's lot vs. ordering it, if I could come out ahead.

I should add that I wasn't able to take a screen shot of the entire bottom of the quote where it says I'm saving $6110. Under that it breaks it down to the $2000 in rebates/incentives and $4110 off MSRP.
