confused by your response.... what about 36/10 ? also, for gas, dealer gave me 60% for 12 and 61% for 10... thought this would match the info you provide? don't get me wrong.. grateful for the response... maybe i didn't ask the right way? or dealer isn't being honest with something? is the $200 incentive on both gas and hybrid?

why is it when i use the Edmunds app to see what the msrp of the 2021 honda accord touring is, it gives me a MSRP $200 *lower* than what the honda site states? I can't figure that out. honda is 37895, but Edmunds reports it as 37695 meanwhile, a local dealer states they are selling me the car with an msrp of 37655 - does any of this make sense?? is no one really purchasing this car in my area and that is why it went from 37895 to 37695 to 37655 ? if i get the vehicle with an msrp of 37655 and am purchasing it below invoice, is that still a great deal? you mentioned there is a $200 incentive... does that come off the msrp or is it a traditional incentive -- that i get taxed on? thanks in advance for the explanation of what may be happening in this case!

We don't have any visibility to the numbers Edmunds publish.
There may also have been a price bump that Edmunds isn't aware of.
Are you buying or leasing? The $200 incentive is a lease only incentive, and goes to the dealer. Any offer they make to you will already include that $200.

the dealer advised that the price quoted to me is for a vehicle they have ordered for stock and they still are awaiting to receive it... once received it can be solved to me.... so i have been told, anyway.

Hello, not sure if it's the right place to talk about the details of a deal (or potential deal) but I'd like t discus something. I've been back and forth with my local deal about the Sport 2.0T which has a MSRP of $33,260. He says he could do $28,972 and confirms the MF of 0.00066 and 60% residual but then say the payments would be $410 a month. With those numbers in my lease calculator, I end up with payments of about $319.
So I go back to me and ask him what am I doing wrong. He says it's because my numbers don't reflect $2000 of after market stuffs....
I'm very puzzled with hat kind of practice....is that current? Seems pert shady to me....
Worst is, even if I add $2K to the negotiated price, payments are then $382, not #410...
Also, 2K of after markets.....? He mentioned "all season protection package II" but that's $400 on website and a GPS thingy that cost $1,500 I guess...

Thoughts?
Typical dealer shenannigans.
Tell them you won't pay for any of the "aftermarket" junk (er, stuff). Probably cost the dealer less than $500.
You also have to account for the fees (acquisition and dealer), which are not part of the selling price.
Ask for a screen shot of the dealer work sheet, so we can see the whole deal, not just the parts the dealer wants you to see.

Thanks for confirming. There is an additional payment of about $1,500 for fees and first month. I'll see if I can get details in writing but since they must know at the end that's it's shady, they don't want to give anything on paper...

If they start to play "hide the numbers", then move on to another dealer.
Could you tell me what the current sales tax rate is on a lease? Zip is 60015 town is Riverwoods. I am getting different answers from different dealers, believe it or not!

I don't know your local rates. IL sales tax is around 7.2%, last I heard.
Hi there. Can I please have the MF, RV and any incentives on a 2021 Accord Sport on a 36/10 lease in ZIP 64157? Also curious if US Bank offers lower MF (I was told they do through Honda dealer) and if so, what that would be?

Thoughts?
Tell them you won't pay for any of the "aftermarket"
junk(er, stuff). Probably cost the dealer less than $500.You also have to account for the fees (acquisition and dealer), which are not part of the selling price.
Ask for a screen shot of the dealer work sheet, so we can see the whole deal, not just the parts the dealer wants you to see.
