earlier in the month I asked for a MF & RV for MAY 2022 on a

2022 Kia Sorento Xline SX prestige AWD 36/12k in Portland, OR 97206

Edmunds gave me: 36/12 - .00181 (4.3%) and 63%

When I went to lease my vehicle in Kirkland, WA, they said the best money factor Kia Finance could give for excellent credit was .00221 (5.3%)

Can you tell me why there would be a one point discrepancy? The dealership would not answer my question.

I live in OREGON 97206, but I leased the Sorento in the state of Washington. Would the money factor differ depending on the state I purchase the car or is it dependent on the state I reside in?

Would this explain why there’s a one point difference?

The dealer is allowed to mark up the MF by .00040. This is for extra profit.
