I've got some info but i'm going to be honest, i'm a bit confused. Looking at a 22 Giulia AWD Veloce. 48230 zip. 24 months / 10,000 per year.

    I was quoted the following:

    MSRP: 56,815
    Sales Price: $52,353
    Ally Rate: .64%
    RV: 29,544

Nothing down + Start Up (First Month, Tax, Title, Doc and Plate)

    $739/month

    What am i missing?

We don't have the Ally programs to verify.

But, if those numbers are correct, I get $656/mo.+ 6% tax = $695/mo.

To get an accurate payment calculation, you need the adjusted CAP cost. Maybe, there is an acquisition fee added to the sales price?

Hello Moderator and Members, Please bare with me, as I am learning..

I need some assistance, I want to get into a new lease. My current Lease is a 2019 Giulia TI Sport AWD. How does the Trade in value work on that? is that even a thing..

I'd like to get into a new 2022 Giulia Veloce TI. AWD

    10K/36m
    MSRP: $56,485
    $557.34 Monthly (quoted)

They are saying: Rebates: $2000, Cash Down: $3000, Trade Balance: $7799.70 ( what does this mean exactly Trade Balance?)
Fees: $564,(what fees?) Residual: $27,112.80, Rate: 0.00024, CAP Cost: $44,885.23

Also, I have a TrueCar incentive of about $2500, looking to add this at the end. (not telling them that yet)

I feel like I need a little better of a deal, please help me out with the residual and percentage and what incentives I have at my disposable! Thank you!! M.✨🤗

I recently purchased the 2019 Giulia Ti Sport! Red/Tan, Its Fire!!!

    What is your location?

Do you know what your 2019 Guilia is worth? What the lease payoff is? That might be the $7799.xx of trade balance.

Ask them for a screen shot of their lease worksheet.

I'd look at that TrueCar incentive to see if it applies when you lease. Do you have a link to it?

The lease numbers we have (from Chrysler Capital) are .00018 and 46%, with a $500 incentive. It's possible your dealer is using either Ally or US Bank for their quote - we don't have their program information to confirm what you've been given.

    Here is what I know...
    New York, Nassau County.

The 2019 estimate value is $34,838. Payoff estimate $23,337. yes I believe that's where he is getting the $7799. (but how does that work, the car is technically worth more with 5666 miles. ??) I wish I knew.

So I've asked for the worksheet 3 times now, and this is what I got.. (Weak) see attached.

Also, the True Car, is a check list through my Amex Purchasing Program, all that applies is calculated.. and it emails you at savings. I got this the last time I leased the vehicle in 2019.

I found out we are working with Chrysler Capital.

Thank you so much!! I love all the help and knowledge. xoxo.M.

Yeah, that doesn't help too much.

I love how they claim you're "saving" $2000, when in fact that's just the incentives.

I see $1000 loyalty, $500 returning leasee and the $500 incentive, so that checks.

But, looks like they are marking up the MF on you, a bit.

Keep pushing for a screen shot of their internal lease worksheet; that will give us all the numbers we need.

Also, get quotes from CarMax, Carvana and Vroom on the 2019 - might be worth more than the dealer is giving you.

This dealer is really annoying me! But the last 2 dealers I spoke with had no inventory, and the one guy was a total aloof!
Ok, the dealer keeps pushing I get the 24 months, even when I asked for the Worksheet, which it doesn't seem like the one guy had any idea what I was asking for the Finance Manager sent me the contract... odd?
Well, I again asked for the number for 36 months, and he said he will work on those.

Why do you think they are pushing the 24months so much?? I find it silly for me to get 24 months and then go for a new lease so quickly!
Question: How do I check the fees for the License, Registration, Title fees? I was only charged $75, in 2019 and that was for registration. This round its $1567.64?? I have to ask them for a clarification.
Question: why are they charging me 3 different types of fees... I know the Bank fee is standard and that's $595...

Here is what I found out thus far..
CarMAX: no offer, because they have no comparable's, I need to make an appointment for them to come to me.
    CARVANA: $25,400
    VROOM: $30,379
    Kelley Blue: $34,087, $35,419, $36,715.

Attached is the contract for the 24 months and the 36 months, there are some fees that I will question, I truly feel they are giving me an awful price! No money off the MSRP, in 2019. I purchased the comparable model the Giulia Ti Sport for $45943.17 MSRP was $51,440.

and why that amount due at signing?? I have never seen that.

I haven't called them back, as I wanted to get your input! Also, How much does it matter if at all, if I will purchase the car from RI and I live in NY.
Also, they added an additional $500 incentive for Military as my fiancé is a Veteran.

Also, waiting on the Amex incentive email, I really hope it comes through tomorrow!!

I need some amo to fight back! Again I thank you so much!! I was sharing how helpful the forum is and I was saying it be easier if we could talk on the phone! ha, Thanks again!

What else?? They are making this convoluted on purpose I know it! xoxo M.

I feel like I need a little better of a deal, please help me out with the residual and percentage and what incentives I have at my disposable! Thank you!! M.✨🤗

    Thanks for the additional information.

The attachments are from the contract, not the lease worksheet. The worksheet is a dealer internal document that shows all the numbers that go into the lease payment, and how the up front monies and trade equity are handled. The fact that they don't want to share this with you makes me skeptical that the numbers are all above board.

There are times where the 24 month programs give you a relative better payment than 36 months.

The market has changed dramatically in the last few years. Getting discounts from MSRP are very rare, and many dealers are adding markups above MSRP. If they are "only" charging you MSRP, and the lack of inventory at other dealers, that may be the best you can do.

In New York, the sales tax for a lease is calculated against the sum of the payments, and can either be paid up front or added to the selling price. There is the bank fee, which you know about, and the dealer doc fee, which is capped at $75 in NY.

The only advice I can give you is to keep pushing for answers to your questions, and don't stop until you're satisfied with the answers.

So I am still pushing the LLEase Worksheet! This is ridiculous! I had to send them one from 3 threes ago, can it be they don't know what it is?? I call BS..

On the numbers I added above, is the value they are giving me for the Trade in fair? $32,000, I truly do not know where I would find a good value. except from what I added above..

    Thank you! M.

Thank you!! M.✨🤗

It's tough that inventory is so thin, else you could shop at a different dealer.
Please note that this lease is funded through Ally, not Chrysler Capital.

We do not have the Ally programs available to us, for comparison. Can't tell you if they are marking up the MF.

I'm not sure what the 20% uplift is all about.

Do you have to shop now? Do you have to get another Alfa? Lots of good alternatives in that price range that could net you a better deal.

At the end of the day, $509/mo for a $56K car with only $2500 cash due at signing is not that bad of a deal.

SO, I might extend my lease and go with someone else. but as of right now, They said Chrysler Capital. but that sheet said Ally?? why... they are super unorganized.. also, what are the numbers for a 2022 Giulia AWD Veloce for 24/10 and 36/10 please? of course using Chrysler.

I used to be so much better at this math.. I have been dealing with too many health issues and I feel confused! awful! xoxo. M

OK, I got this crap shoot of a worksheet! Oh my word... I'm lost, are they straight up making up the car by 1.20%? and the titles fees went up to $1940.05?? WHAT! if you compare with the contract they sent yesterday, I feel like it does not add up! I'm losing my mind.. Please help. xoxo. M.

    Thank you! M.

What else?? They are making this convoluted on purpose I know it! xoxo M.
    Attached is 36 months.

I love all the help and knowledge. xoxo.M.

Hey Everyone, I got a new worksheet, I went with a new dealer. The other had to be tossed!! This new Dealer is so much more helpful !!

So new vehicle has an MSRP of $57,355.
my Trade in value will be $32000, equity $7790
The bank is Ally, Residual 48%. .00014 for 36/10, he gave me a rate of .34%(does that sound right? anyone?)

Also, he gave me an extra $500 incentives-discount to get to the $499 payment..

Lastly, I am waiting on my Amex Auto Purchasing Program Cash Bonus, it will either be $500, or $1500, not yet added to worksheet.

What are your thoughts Michaell? Or anyone else? This seems like an extremely competitive offer!
    Thank you. xoxo M.✨🤗

    Thank you. xoxo M.✨🤗

So I've asked for the worksheet 3 times now, and this is what I got.. (Weak) see attached.

Also, the True Car, is a check list through my Amex Purchasing Program, all that applies is calculated.. and it emails you at savings. I got this the last time I leased the vehicle in 2019.

Thank you!! M.✨🤗

Gee Whizz! Thanks, I know.. I saw this the other day!! and I'm like.. darn, I love the car I am in now, but for some reasons not expressed.. I want to get into a new one, and well.. I am getting the Red Etna Veloce, with all the same features I want, except. They mainly make it with black seats, and I wanted the red seats, and unfortunately the One Dealer that had the car I wanted, was a bunch of... BEEP BEEP Fx*!xx... Haha!!

SO YEAH, the salesman said to me.. we are adding the value of the equity, but didn't write it in that document.. why is that???

Is it because they are marking up the price? and then worked their numbers to get to the $499 monthly? Can anyone figure it out?
Right, I am paying the sales taxes upfront which is $19xx, and the remainder down... I'm so overwhelmed and confused and this point...

    @Marilistar

You can see the "agreed value" is quite a bit under the MSRP. Maybe that reflects the equity, but without putting it in the deal. Not sure why that is. It's possible that Alfa won't let them credit you with the equity, so they are finding a way around it.

The equity you have in the lease is "found" money, since you did nothing to get it, other than get lucky on timing of used car values. $5000 upfront and $499/mo is not bad for a $57K MSRP car, though.

What else?? They are making this convoluted on purpose I know it! xoxo M.
    Attached is 36 months.

I love all the help and knowledge. xoxo.M.

Thank you!! M.✨🤗

At the end of the day, $509/mo for a $56K car with only $2500 cash due at signing is not that bad of a deal.
    .00014 MF
    61% / 48% for 24/36 and 10K
    $500 incentive
I don't see the accounting for your trade equity in the attached documents.
Also, do you have to come up with $5000 out of pocket at lease signing?
I recently purchased the 2019 Giulia Ti Sport! Red/Tan, Its Fire!!!

Do you know the Rate Ally is showing for top tier credit?

    Thank you. xoxo M.✨🤗

I have been dealing with too many health issues and I feel confused! awful! xoxo. M

    This is for 36 months.
Please help. xoxo. M.

    Michaell said:

    Thank you for the reply!

    Thank you! M.

This dealer is really annoying me! But the last 2 dealers I spoke with had no inventory, and the one guy was a total aloof!
Ok, the dealer keeps pushing I get the 24 months, even when I asked for the Worksheet, which it doesn't seem like the one guy had any idea what I was asking for the Finance Manager sent me the contract... odd?

I am looking for numbers for a Giulia Veloce AWD in 17601. 36 mo with 10k per year. Any incentives at this time? Any % off of MSRP to shoot for?
I will be turning in (or trading in) my 2019 Guilia Ti Sport with approx. 23500 miles.
Do they update their lease numbers monthly or quarterly like some manufacturers?
