William, it seems like there are still a good number of '23 45e's they couldn't sell, are you getting any deals off MSRP on that?

@kenny_h_ I don't see an incentive at my zip via leasing, I am collecting data for X5 now, and will send emails to the dealerships this or next week to find out.

Hi to all the extremely helpful people who have made me more confident in understanding a lease.

Recently went to a bmw dealership and got quoted $900 a month on a new 54K x3 which I know is insane and we are actually considering getting an x5 instead of buying out our current x3.

for the x5 we are interested in, it is a $70,295 2023 X5 in zipcode 30022
we have a bmw so loyalty credit should be factored in but idk how much.

At 898 a month that seems like a really high value to pay right? Or is that what the market just is right now?

The online lease offer through the local bmw website thing was $1301 a month which I feel could be negotiated down? (+ we are looking for a cheaper X5 near 72K)

The per month value is important ofcourse but we also don't want the dealer ripping us off ((

Should I just input the money factor and values you gave earlier into leasehackr and then use that to negotiate?

I'm not sure you can get what I would consider a good deal, given the low residuals, currently.

Why do you think there are such low residuals lately? It seems like cars are holding their values better than before but BMW has been reducing their RVs more and more. The lease costs are much higher than before and for someone on budget to maintain their payment, they will have to get a vehicle that's possibly $7-$10k less.

Only hope is that the current vehicle may have some equity on to help with value of next car, but even then, not only RVs are down, MF's are going up. They will need to do something to help or I don't see BMW being able to maintain their best selling status and we'll be seeing fewer X5s on the road.

BMWFS is a captive bank. Any profits roll through to BMW. BMW doesn't seem to have any issues in selling every vehicle they make.
